author: turns on microphone HAYAN IS A PUREBLOOD Y'ALL THAT MEANS SHE'S 9999x MORE POWERFUL THAN YOUR SORRY ASS. SHE'S JUST BUILT DIFFERENT. WAIT DID I MENTION THAT SHE'S A PUREBLOOD? AND THAT SHE'S INCREDIBLY POWERFUL? NO? WELL SHE IS, AND-"

I'm not even kidding, I've read more than 70 chapters and during every single fight scene there was always one character commenting on how godlike the MC was.

This is how fight scenes go between Hayan and her enemies:
Hayan fights someone > enemy underestimates her and gets cocky as hell > turns out Hayan is stronger than Thanos > Enemy goes "gasp😲 that's impossible! I didn't know she could do that!?! She is so incredibly powerful no one is a match for her" > She wins. Rinse and repeat.

W H Y? Why must you announce how special and powerful and different she is every like five goddamn chapters, author? I thought it was obvious the moment we saw her blast people to the next dimension just by using her index finger? Or when she could copy her enemy's skill like it was nothing?

I didn't even care one bit when Hayan was in danger because I knew damn well she would always win simply because she was the main character. Look, I do love me a badass female MC, but this manhwa just didn't deliver. Hayan is a really bland MC, the plot is embarrassingly predictable and full of holes, and the author spent so much time explaining to the readers how Hayan was so much better than the other vampires that I literally wanted to throw myself (and the manhwa) out of the window.

I honestly don't even know why I lasted until ch 79.

P.S. Art is really good though, gotta give credit to the artist.

Gets repetative

I originally gave this a much higher rating, because the earlier chapters were a lot more promising.
However, the most engaging character was killed off to move the plot along and what's left are two pretty but bland characters who share the chemistry of my two goldfish. It feels as though every chapter at least one character turns out to be a vampire and its presented as this big plot twist but it is always predictable as hell. There were also a couple of moments during fights that had big "by the power of grayskull and anime" vibes and made me physically cringe. We get it, MC is very powerful there doesn't need to be a side character saying so during every physical altercation involving her. Visuals 10/10 tho.

Lastly, I wanna say this.
Dear author. "Revenge" isn't a character trait.

Pretty art and style over substance and quality

It‘s obvious why this manhwa is so popular right now. Good artwork. That‘s all it apparently takes nowadays.

The story is way too straightforward. There are super vampires and the MC duo is killing them. That‘s it. No layers, no secrets, no plot twists. Just plain enemy after enemy, without pause. Nothing gets a build up, every storyline starts and immediately rushes to the climax, ends and next chapter the next enemy is already here.
Not to mention the countless plot holes, ooh, all those painfully stupid plot holes.

The characters are shallow and boring. They have no depth, their goals are bland at best. i wAnT tO kiLl aLl vAmpIrEs. Cool. The male MC is a typical pretty face with no substance and the latest „plot twist“ (ch. 30) can be seen from a mile away. The only character with potential gets killed after a few chapters and of course in the most cliche and cheesy way possible.

The art is good but the author doesn‘t know how to write an engaging story. Either she is too incompetent for that or just thinks we readers are stupid and can be satisfied with pretty art.

......and unfortunately, that seems to be true, judging from the comments here and on webtoon.com

So rare to get such a badass female lead! I love everything about the story... red haired guy is also super interesting. Sadly it rarely gets translated, but it’s still worth the read! (Hopefully it gets translated faster).

This is good so far, can't wait for more.
This is taken from the first few chapters so far, our heroine is a vampire but wants to live like a normal human while she still reluctantly acts the vampire in a pinch or when she wants to save others.
Then various ...annoying...things happen and it gets kind of funny in a desperate way.
