"Baiscally a manga where the point of view is from avillain, "
no they missed the whole point of the manga. the point of view is from a kid who became a serial killer psychopath because he's never experienced real motherly love.
Okay this is the real reason why this is 10/10 and why people aren't getting it. people read this at face value based on the plot alone. Yes, do not expect realism when it comes to the psychology of these characters. They are exaggerated as a plot device.
The main journey of this manga is see the slow realization of the mc as he realizes the real difference between fake and real motherly love. and at the same time, both the mothers and character realizing how tragic it is for the MC to not understand.
When MC uses his twisted understanding of a mother's psychology to manipulate the women, of course it's going to super ridiculous but the sad part is this twisted and sick version of love all the MC has ever known. And when you start realizing this, "you can't help but not hate him"
When some of the female characters have this painfully obvious realization of how tragic it is that a kid who's never had had has resulted into such a psychopath, the real motherly love just cannot help but feel bad for him when they finally see his real face for who he is instead of his manipulative mask.
And the art reflects this so well with two disparities of psycho women maternal endorphin love and gentle empathy motherly love.
If you read this focusing on the plot and instead of the sad reality and the result of a MC who has never had parents, yes it will be at face value shit.
