Description

Yoshino is gay, thirty, and definitely not flirty—he's never even dated anyone. Everything in Minta's work was realistic; this is no exception. It was detailed, and the flow was a chief kiss. Since both are outspoken about their personal emotions, the conflicts in it were skilfully handled. can escape to eat vinegar ><
This was a gem coming from someone who loves younger shou and elder uke! There are no dull chapters at all because the characters are assertive, making it captivating to read.

It’s the second time for me to read this since I’ve forgotten what happened. So, basically the story isn’t that impactful for me to remember this. Too bad because I really, really love the art and the uke is so cute. Although, I love white-haired guys, the seme isn’t too charming for me and I kinda hate him but he makes this precious uke happy. Not sure if this is a good read but I enjoyed the art so much. Very pretty!

I loved that this story was about actual adults, not just young adults. They were both kind of weird but also were mature enough to actually get together. I do wish it was just a bit longer! Also apparently we missed out on seeing a proposal scene? Maybe it’ll be in the sequel, but it’ll be about 7 years before we get that in English. 🙁

EXTREMELY EMBARRASSING READ. Like, I've quit in the middle multiple times. Why... Why are you like that, Yoshino? I'd say it's unrealistic, but honestly I was probably exactly that awkward when I was younger. It's extremely painful to read. Not bad art or writing, though, so if that's your thing...go for it.

...In that, it just amped up Yoshino's inner emo with the dramatic BGM.

I couldn't buy into the idea that a 30-year old who mulled over love and finding a gay partner all the time hadn't come up with the idea of going into a gay bar on their own. This is from a guy who checked out a gay movie and the BL aisle (but not the gay community). He's not an introvert either (he has all those time helping the elderly but no time to meet the gay community). Why put in the summary that Yoshino isn't flirty then not show the how and why in the manga itself? Honestly, even a line about the Japanese work-life balance could've solved that so easily--and even add more life to Yoshino's personality lol.

All-in-all, it was so-so (thank god it was in futekiya). I stopped listening to the drama CD midway to the story because I wanted to get the story over and done with.

Absolutely beautiful. Everyone should read this heartwarming story. I loved Yoshino so much, his helplessness and anxiety with understanding and wanting love was so real and relatable.
The moments that showed Yoshino thinking of how love was so much for him to ask and that it was enough for him to just find someone else's temporary warmth were heart-wrenching.
Loved the characters and the art style was beautiful. Loved this one and it's now a favorite.
