I have never read a manga from this mangaka before, even though I'm aware of her Kichijouji manga.

I've read the four chapters (almost a volume) from this title that are available as of now.

The story is about a woman in her thirties who becomes attracted to skateboarding one night after stumbling upon some girl skaters throwing tricks in a public spot.

The artwork is truly dreadful—a purely digital affair of the worst kind with CG-generated backgrounds. There is no artistry or skill whatsoever that I can see, and it really brings the manga down. How she draws a head rotating in haste, as two heads at the same time, is laughable and displays zero skill. That's not a minor gripe; it would be an opportunity to be impressed by the artist's skill in how they interpreted this fast movement in other manga.

The story is not very interesting, and I found myself skipping a lot of the daily drama due to its tediousness. I have to stress that I do find daily life occurrences interesting, and it's my bread and butter in fiction.

Sadly, the bit that I came for—skating—is well-done. And I say "sadly" because, in a more skilled mangaka's hands, this would have been a great title if the same approach were followed.

I can't wait for Kodansha to publish all the volumes so I can read the skating bits but not much else.
