A girl finds out her quiet classmate's secret and decides to blackmail her.

Kanojo no Sekai is quite different from your typical schoolgirl GL, in a good way. There are no "sweet, pure, innocent" girls here: they're capable of lust, jealousy and manipulative behaviour like any real teenager. (Which probably explains the low rating: the average GL fan is pretty much denied their fantasies of "moeness" here)
It's very short (157 pages) -- too short to be truly complex or outstanding. However, it's a good story that aims for a more realistic portrayal of two girls who discover their lesbian tendencies in a world where its outright expression is forbidden and choose to express themselves in two completely different ways. This, of course, means there are more straightforward and less prettied-up depictions of sexual acts/fantasies than you usually expect from yuri, not to mention much ambiguity of feeling and unrequited love... All of which I appreciated but is unlikely to see much success in yuri-fan-world.
Worth a read for those who can stomach something a little more down-to-earth (that still ends on a hopeful note).
