Was looking for another good isekai to read since I've been enjoying them lately and this one was rated highly. Hooked at first by the beautiful artwork, and the mystery of why Claude left his own daughter to be raised alone since she was born. I'm a sucker for fluffy, happily-ever-afters, so when the events of the story Athanasia is in started to change and her relationship with her father improved, I was waiting with excitement to read more.

Season 2 turned everything til then on its head and then that blossoming relationship was gone, as well as my enjoyment of the story. I wanted to like Jennette, as she seemed to have a secret behind her birth as well, but she became insufferable with her naivety.

Putting this one down at chapter 65. Maybe my experience with it has been a bit too slow (read 2 chapters daily through Tappytoon's Time Til Free program), but with season 2's focus on oblivious Jennette I just cannot justify opening my wallet to spend points on it.

Edit 1/6/24 - Decided to continue reading after chapter 65 since it was free. Reached chapter 95 now and things are finally getting exciting again (probably because I love Lucas and he had been absent from the story for quite a while).

Not sure yet if I think getting the rug pulled from us during season 2 was worth it, as the story ground to a near-complete halt after all the character development in season 1, but we'll see.

Season 3 is looking better, with Athanasia rising to the challenge after doing almost nothing last season (not through any fault of her own, but the author literally pushed her to the sidelines while trying to set up the evil mastermind with a cookie crumb trail). Updated rating from 5 to 7.

It took me long to get hooked on this one. I think it was around the 50th chapter that hyped me up only to lose hype again. Planned to binge-read it for at least 2 days, but it took longer than expected.

It's a good father-daughter series in its time. Season 1 was okay, Season 2 got better, and Season 3 was amazing when I read it especially when they have involved the politics---scenes were effective as it gave me feels. The backstories connecting up to the present was interesting, it left no holes. Tho I agree that the ending might be a bit soft than I expected.

Was rooting for the other lead for the princess, but I get that there's little romance involved in this one because they're still on their mid-teens. Loved how friendship prevails. No complaints about the family-centered plot because plot execution is delivered well. Also, loved the series's fashion sense.

Overall, a recommendable series. Can't wait for the side stories.

I didn't expect much from this manhwa, but it turned out to be an unexpectedly beautiful and interesting one. Despite it's length, I finished it in one day, it was that good 🙂

I think stories like this have been found a lot among the isekai manhwa, nothing special except for the good arts, but I can still enjoy this

I was gripped by the story by all of season 1 and 2. The third season was intriguing for the most part my only complaint being, it suffered from an underwhelming end. Highly recommend especially now that it’s completed, you won’t have to suffer from cliffhangers and hiatus in the middle of the intense parts.

Ah, the heartburn is real in the middle of the story, too much of a slow burn for me honestly.

I don’t really like the personality of the sister, and while the fluff was very fluffy, the angst was very annoying. Also, there’s only one good ship for the FL, the only ‘legal” ship, and it doesn’t get explored nearly as much as it should.

The whole father plotline was nice but it overstayed it’s welcome, the FL should’ve grown up a bit quicker to keep the story fresh.

It’s not badly written, and the character show plausible reactions, but it’s way too slow.

no plot holes, refreshing, nice artstyle, characters with personality traits. overall a good manhwa

I know it was a father & daughter story is the main focus, but there were love interests so I assumed and I only read it for the romance but I only could say my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

And let’s not forget the plot holes in this series a lot of things were left open, in this type of story I usually avert my eye but I couldn’t since the romance isn’t satisfying at all.

The read was overall a pretty good one. Somewhere towards the end, it became stagnant for a few chapters and then slowly picked up. I wished the author wouldve indulged us with more of the FL's romantic life.

Pretty good overall. The story is quite interesting even if it not particularly amazing.

Art is amazing.

Character wise, the female lead is well developed, the other characters less so, but it is still okay. Complex characters are very rare in this genre.
