Personally, I am quite sick of happy happy shounen-ai/yaoi that ends with the typical happy endings. So I really enjoy Kaiya and Kou's story in the series. Although they come together in the end, their relationship shows serious flaws. In the end, their relationship isn't quite resolved.
One thing that disappoints me is that there aren't much of Kou and Kaiya. The author could have developed their characteristic and further their relationship.
The other couples in the book aren't quite like this couple, so I wasn't happy that the author splitted the book into three couples, leaving a lot to be desired for each couple when she ended the book.

This manga is disturbing but equally fascinating. The fact that it deals with a grown man lusting after an adolesence says it all. And what really takes the cake is his somehow manipulative mindset. I've got to say the first story is definatly an entertaining read. Sadly, the other two stories are not that remarkable at all.

However, I highly agree with everyone else that Kaiya is indeed a jerk, a complete and total one. I would have been very happy if Kou grew up and turned the dynamic seme/uke table on Kaiya. I think Kaiya should have gotten a dose of karma.

I like this manga overall, probably because the stories have a sort of psychological factor built into them, which made them interesting by adding a bit of twisted-ness to those seemingly sweet relationships.
However, I must say that, personally, I'm not a big fan of Kaiya and Kou's story, just because I do like my ukes with at least a little bit of power ^^;;

I love how Kaiya slowly builds poor Kou to fall into his traps, i want to feel sorry for him but it's just too great. The rest of the stories are also good but the main one was my favorite. I thought this one could have gone a bit further developing the other characters or couples.
i have to appreciate the first story a bit because it's all about seduction without any romance at all, pretty much. kaiya is pretty mean, but he's also a sadist and its nothing worse then anything i've seen from other mean semes. poor kou is the perfect lovestruck tsundere. too bad playing nice is not anywhere in kaiya's book. i love his creepy face when kou confesses to him. it represents the story quite well.
second story was ok. i thought yuujin was more of a jerk than kaiya, to kou at least. third story was sweet but....ehhh....a litttttllee too much shota for my tastes. dont just pick up random kids, even if they're willing -_-

The mangaka is trying to hard to make a sadistic seme but this guy is nothing more than an jerk. Kou should grow a spine and leave this guy. No one deserves to be treated that way, especially an innocent boy like Kou.

Story not for me. I definitely dislike the first story. I hate characters like Kaiya. He's a complete jerk. I mean, what kind of guy does that to someone he likes? But the rest of the story was tolerable so I'll give it a 7.
Sometimes I don't mind stories with unlikeable characters, or stories which are just cheeky and sexy without much meaning. These stories were like that, but they just didn't work for me. They weren't hot enough to me to get by on that alone. I strongly disliked Kaiya so the first and last stories were just annoying to me. Kou seems like he would have some spirit, but then he ends up just letting himself be walked all over and toyed with, with little benefit to himself.
The second story was just ok. Nothing really special for me. Yuujin is boring and although his lover is hot, the story feels thrown together and kind of dumb. The third story was pretty creepy and borderline shota for my tastes. The uke here is seemingly the same age as kou, but comes off creepier. It just wasn't for me.
So, all in all it was just kind of lacking something. More tension maybe(you can't have proper heat without tension, imho)? More love? More humor? I think any one of those options would have made it much better.

i totally love Kaiya's evil plans!!!! ^^ like teasing Kou and giving him a pricing behind the B****!! even when he is evil to his lover, i find Kaiya extremely HOT and SEXY!! Kou is SUPER CUTE!!! no wonder Kaiya teases him so much!! and i love him when he blushes... i have to say that i'd love this manga more if it actually shows kaiya's and kou's love-making scenes..... they were my fav. couple in this manga, so i was really hoping to see their H-scenes....
i enjoyed the other stories also.... it was pretty good. jun and yuujin were really H-making, renji and satoshi were really CUTE....
i love the art in this manga. they're much more beautiful than her other works!!! ^^ after finishing this manga, i really feel that the mangaka should had added in kaiya's and kou's love-making scene..... somehow, i just felt that their story wasn't as complete like the other stories in this manga where each couple were able to make love....
