The beginning is pushy and rushed. But I understand why. Gotta move pass the typical things to set up the real story. The plot really gets going once they separate.
The ML and FL are so unlikable in the beginning. Both are the classic trope of cold-heart ML, loving-soft, passive, tragic FL. But like to the max lol.
It was a little annoying following them and watching them. Some of their actions just seemed idiotic.
It takes a while to understand “ah, now I get why the author wrote them like this”
I actually appreciate that the main characters are so consistent with their characteristics!
It gets so predictable and boring so fast when characters “in love/ falling in love” suddenly change 180.
The ML doesn’t realize he’s emotionally unavailable but he starts to see he wants to change and what he’s been missing.
The FL is definitely meek and weak. But she’s somehow strong in my eyes with her strong nature to give love endlessly and endure through so many obstacles.
I enjoy that the mains are more than what they seem. It’s not necessarily a character developing niche type of story. There’s nothing too grand or extravagant like revenge or over the top, sudden op abilities. But it does take a while to see more than their surface.
I recommend to give it a try :) (at least until chapter 29 for something truly satisfying~)
Ps. The fashion, art and hands are drawn beautifully ❤️ even if they’re a side character!
