Weak female lead

MC was kinda cool and strong in chapter one and chapter one only. I liked how she confronted her mysogynistic colleagues but that's it. After that her character went downhill. I won't call this a rape story but the things the MC was doing was too stupid and she should have gotten fired. There was this scene were she was almost raped but she wasn't then she proceeded to act completely fine and normal. That's not realistic at all. So if your reading this I'm telling you to avoid this manga. Anyone with a sensible head will hate this

It's not "naive female lead" it's a moron with a badge and a cute face. If she was my co worker, she'd be seriously considering getting that other job. If some chapters later we find out she finally got herself or somebody else killed I wouldn't be surprised. I don't get why she isn't punished for her actions, but she irritates me, and I can't read this.

I read the raw up to vol 5. It's so nice. ^ ^ The story shows how stubborn and naive the female lead can be. She sometimes pissed me off. It's worth to read. Smutty but not that much. The story line was just nice.

I don't see this as a rape story just one about a female cop who likes cosplaying, also, I like the glasses guy because he seems more trustworthy than the flirty one, also, instead of supporting her dressing up to get criminals to rape her, glasses guy shows how dangerous it can be, I like him and I think I can tell that he is the good guy from all the volume covers.

Chapter 1 is...intriguing; I'm sure we'll have a better idea of what to expect from this series once chapter 2 is released (the ending of ch1 was unexpected). I agree with Kitteh_13; rape as a topic is usually glossed over or ignored. Beyond this series, I've only read a oneshot that includes a serious look at the varying social attitudes, prejudices, and stereotypes about rape and rape victims (true, the police don't take it serious, which is disturbing, but there are people in the world who treat it as a joke, and how the women handle it demonstrates just how sick the men joking about rape are). I don't think this will be the focus of the entire series, but it's an interesting beginning - hopefully in the coming chapters there'll be more comedy.

I could see this going either way. Either the mangaka has rape fantasies and is going to try to prove that all women want to be raped at all times, which I sincerely hope isn't the case, or there's going to be an attempt to disprove sexist stereotypes. As long as this latter one is accomplished without the use of reverse sexism, (which, in case you didn't know, is just as hurtful to men) I'll be rather pleased with this one. Unfortunately, I've already seen signs of that, what with it seeming that nearly all men in the manga are sexist pigs who think that women want to be raped... so we'll see how this goes.
Rape Culture in a Manga

I am SO glad that there is a manga that finally tackles rape culture! I wouldn't really call this a comedy though. For the people that are mad about the men saying "Women deserve to get raped" you are supposed to get angry. The mangaka is trying to prove a point that it isn't that way at all.
I think it's super important that the main character be a sexy tomboy for the fact that she stands for what some people assume a rapist wants. I can really see this manga disproving everything.
I can see a lot of potential in this.

In the comic the male police joke around how highschool girls are just asking to be raped and that when women say "NO" they actually mean "YES". They don't feel any sympathy for a highschool girl who filed a report saying she was attacked/raped, instead they joke about it, saying she "asked for it". I've only read the first chapter but it horrified me that cops would think that way. The main character later interviews the highschool girl and the girl is obviously traumatized. Of the male cops only the two male leads seem to understand how that girls future has probably been ruined.
So far this manga hasn't been funny at all.
I like the art, and 2 of the main characters seem ok (the main girl and dark-haired guy are alright so far - the glasses guy seems like a d*ck), so that's why the rating is as high as it is.

in response to the other reviewer, i think the first chapter didn't have what you call smut. more like ecchi. and i've seen worse things out there lol. i'm interested in the romance.. and this is kinda like going through a 'second rape'. the feeling of doubt from others.. i dont know which way the author is going. romance-smut-comedy way? or the going through an explanation of a secondrape-tragedy way? honestly if she was going for the first way, then rape should definitely NOT have been the subject she created as the plot....... coz sooner or later, her manga is gonna turn out to sort of take rape 'lightly', which i dont like. Since it doesnt even have a tragedy tag, then its definitely going to be the first option. And like I said, if she didnt make the story about rape then the whole thing woulda been hella funny. i personally hate my smut comedy romance along with a tragedy tag on it or murder or something because i want a light read, not a serious read. I have other comics to read about that and would prefer to separate those tags from each other. No, my statement is not meant to say "I hate rape stories" its just, I prefer them separate from my smut stories. That is all.

I don't know...it's really smutty and the premise is totally unbelievable, but i just love how the female lead is totally oblivious to how much of a temptress she is. Her pin-up girl physique is constantly surrounded by two poor, hapless males whose better judgement are fighting a losing battle against their more primal, carnal urges. The guys are yummy too and they all seem equally compelling (well i do have a soft spot for the one with glasses , Itsuki i think). It's worth a read, many of the scenes are LOL funny, the smutty parts are hot, and every now and then there's a tender moment. Mindless entertainment i say.
