Description
From Must Be Endless:

Harehito and Oujirou are trash collectors. Harehito's hands can fix anything, like magic. When Oujirou's heart is broken, Harehito's hand, warm on his back, brings him to life. Once again, a request comes in to pick up a dormant boy. It's another sweltering day. Just like the day Harehito "collected" Oujirou as trash.

A bit cheesy but it's in good heart

I'm not a huge fan of the shoehorned bits of melodrama thrown into the middle of this manga just for the sake of some obligatory development for the characters - like I get the idea why it was put there, but it literally came out of nowhere and was very clunkily handled and too overly dramatic for my liking, as I prefer a more subtle and nuanced approach. It felt jarring compared to the general atmosphere of the rest of the story, wrecking its flow altogether which is a shame because other than that this was a genuinely heartfelt manga. It's a little awkward and clumsy in places but deep down it has that rustic charm coming from a rookie writer who's still inexperienced but full of passion for her craft, and all in all she managed to capture the soul of the story well so I can't fault that. Also, this mangaka has a real knack for drawing love scenes - they're just graphic enough with the right amount of skin shown, and most importantly they're always expressive and brimming with emotions exuding from the characters - you really can feel the 'love' involved in the act and it definitely adds to how the audience perceives the couple as a whole.

Simple yet compelling

Honestly, this story was beautiful in all its simplicity. It had a very cordial feeling without being overbearing. The real substance behind the story was how it portrayed fragility as a compulsory part of life, rather than an adversery where everything (or anything) loses its value as soon as it is broken. I quite liked it, although it could have been developed a bit more towards the ending.

How do I even being to talk of this? I had been looking forward to reading this since 2 years ago, so happy that I finally did. Such a wholesome and consensual relationship. Honestly, this is just fantastic. Having conversations about each other and their relationship in that manner was so hear moving. I know I am not making any sense at all here, but I just want you to know that I loved this so, so, so much.

The only down side was the family situation of Oujirou; like, I get why Hare-san took in Oujirou the first time, but the second time why isn’t child services being called or something? Seriously, what is happening here? And, this too with a differently abled child who is in what seems to be a coma? A bit too much unresolved drama here, still including this I absolutely loved this manga.
