What does it mean to be "kind" as people think?

Sun-Hae hates being called "kind." Ever since childhood, people have inexplicably labeled her as kind. She doesn’t understand why they say that when she’s never done anything particularly kind.

Thanks to this societal brainwashing, Sun-Hae even chose her career as a social worker. One day, she woke up and realized she had ended up this way without really deciding it herself.

As a result, she hears that dreaded word, "kind," countless times at work as well. People use the word to take advantage of her.

But deep down, Sun-Hae has always wanted to reject this label. She knows exactly what people mean when they call someone "kind."

Being "kind," she understands, is just a polite way of calling someone a naive pushover.
