I have to admit, when I first decided to read this manga and there were only 2 chapters scanlated in English, I certainly felt a bit clueless as to what direction the story was going to head into, considering how no main couple was introduced for those 2 whole chapters, except a vague moment at the end of chapter 2. Now that I've finished the manga, I can positively say that this is one of the most genius thing I've read in a long time. It is exactly that somewhat unorthodox approach in storytelling that helps build up the hype for the main story, because the author had skilfully introduced bit by bit little details to reveal more and more about the main couple, while still writing very interesting stories about characters related to them along the way.
And that's not even remotely the only thing I love about this manga. Not only is the storytelling excellent, the contents are also very enjoyable and you can't help but fall in love with all the characters in the end. This might not be your usual romantic boy x boy context and it's not like the main couple acts all lovey-dovey with each other, but that certainly didn't prevent me from going 'aww' when the characters do show their affections towards another. In fact, their kind of love is totally different from the norm that it's only appropriate for them to have such 'odd' ways of loving each other, and I can't deny how heartbroken and moved I was while reading.
Also, love the wit of this mangaka. I like how the AV industry and especially yakuza themes were still presented but toned down a bit through witty dialogues to prevent the manga from turning depressing or heavy. Instead it's a light read with depth, which is not easy at all. And the way she draws is both cute and hilarious, kinda reminds me of Aniya Yuiji's art style.
There are still a lot of things I could go on about, but I don't want to end up writing an essay here, so to put it briefly, go read this manga immediately because you can't get much better materials to read than this. It's one of those few BL mangas related to the AV industry that I could enjoy, let alone love.
