WIXOSS (short for "Wish Across&quot😉 is a popular trading card game in which players battle against each other with fighters known as LRIGs (girl spelled backward; pronounced Rurigu), using cards to support them.
Since she was a little child Sara Shirato has always taken care of her sick little sister Yura. But now that Sara wants to live her own life, Yura becomes more and more an obstacle to her. When Yura eventually even wants Sara to attend the same high school as her, Sara decides to make a wish: she tells her newly found LRIG Mihiro that she wants to be free from Yura.
