Awkward relationship between high-school boys, Sunohara and Shinomiya.
1 Volume (Complete)

I really don't know why, but I do feel.... a certain melancholy.
It was indeed a wonderful read: the atmosphere is incredibly endearing, the characters are lovely and compelling, and in the end you just want them to live happily ever after. I mean both the kids and the adults. The art is sweet to the verge of tears, really, however, like I said, in the end you can't quite grasp what is missing. Or perhaps nothing is really missing but a secure, positive sense of closure, in which circumstance it's not the artist's fault but the artist's genius. This is not to say the manga is anything near inconclusive or open-ended - it's not. There's only this painful colour (something to do with the art, can it be?) that makes you feel a little empty in the end, or perhaps with too many feelings. I've never experienced anything quite like this.
Please just read it.
It was a nice and gentle read
I really wish there was more T.T
The couples were very adorable and the best words I can use to describe it is "warm, fuzzy, and soft"
definitely worth reading
After getting past the first impression this left and reading the rest as almost a different story it was a cute slice of life of the characters. You never got really pulled into the characters themselves - just a lot of surface interactions and simple romance. I feel there could have been a lot more depth if several pages had not been wasted on such a bad misunderstanding/first impression set up.
The false rape/incest with step-parent was in poor taste. Not only did the mangaka set it up that the love interest misunderstood but also very deliberately (and admittedly skillfully) twisted it to make the reader also believe our protagonist was in an unwanted sexual relationship with his not-blood-related-father. Then to turn around and laugh at the love interest for protecting him based on that deliberate mislead just further rubbed salt in the insult.
However, after that initial sub plot, the story is a simple and sweet romance good for a quick read.
The feeling is so real. I can't help reading this over and over again. For some reasons, this is the only manga that I cry every time I read it. There are scenes that I think impossible to have been drawn if it's not by the author's own experience. Any way, this is one of the most precious mangas I've ever read. I hope there are more works from this author.
Even though this is quite old, I Just thought I'd mention, before anyone gets excited. There is no trans character. It was simply a misunderstanding.
The main character's father is with another man, who MC sees as a mother figure. The boyfriend was confused by this, and so he asked if the mother figure was trans, but the answer was no. Even though it could be read as sort of brushing off the question, the reality is simply that mother figure guy is just a regular cis man
It felt slightly boring. Even though it had some drama the general feeling was very low in energy. I couldn't get excited at all over the characters.
Not bad, but not really good either.
This was really a sweet touching story >\\<
Tho there were almost non sex scenes, it didnt bother me much.
It was all so touching, gentle and lovely. I really wish there could be more of it!!
Heartwarming and adorable, the two couples were awesome together!~ <3 it was really worth the time!!!
There's something very subdued about this manga. It's sweet, but not saccharine. It's not too much of anything which makes it feel like somehow it's not enough; but because of that it's not overly burdened by tropes or cliches, which is refreshing in this genre. I highly recommend reading this series if you haven't already. It's only one volume, the art is beautiful (although it is a sketchy style, if you dislike that), and the characters are more or less three-dimensional. I really enjoyed this manga; I wish there was a sequel to see where the relationship between Sunohara and Yoshino goes.
The story starts with homophobia, and just goes downhill from there. The art is so bad it’s hard to tell the characters apart and they look totally different from chapter to chapter. There’s no character development or build-up of anything. The only thing that elicits any emotional reaction is when one of the characters falsely accuses his step-dad of sexual abuse for no reason. Literally wtf? Terrible.
