The story revolves around Wakame High School's extracurricular club, "Sexy Commando Club," which consists of 5-6 male members (one being the high school principal himself), a female manager, and a small mysterious pet (that may be extraterrestrial in origin).

There was Sexy Commando. The gag comedy that can get by successfully without a romantic subplot. Thoroughly enjoyable, thoroughly hilarious, thoroughly CLEANUP CLEANMISSUS and a good change of pace when I'm tired of reading harem (Hayate, ZnT, SnH, just check the list) or non-harem romantic comedies.
To boot, Masaru is easily one of the ten greatest characters ever. I will forever be a fan of this series, even if it has been over for like a decade now. If you haven't read it, you are doing yourself a disservice.

the animu is hilarious.
i think it's better because like school rumble, the voiceovers are really talented, and add to the humor alot.

Which surprises me, since usually its the other way around. And the anime is damn good if you havent seen it.
