Description
In a town with nothing, in the middle of daily life with seemingly no signs of change, high schooler Reiji Kurose was "just" living. Family, dreams for the future and childhood friends. All of them were binding him down to that city. He thought he would "just" keep on living like that. Until he met her. Is there hope in living? Is there light waiting ahead? It's the start of a boy meets girl series which reflects the "now".

Melodramatic masterpiece

Too bad the men in the reviews under me can't appreciate melodrama to save their lives.

Also I do love how this manga lowkey calls out misogyny, even if it goes about it in the most crazy way.

It's OK. Wasted potential due to focusing too much on SHOCKING DEVELOPMENTS instead of PSYCHOLOGICAL HORROR

Protagonist has a weak characterization or due to the way the author portrays him. Barely has any sense of agency.

It'd be more engaging if she focused on drumming up the psychological aspect like 'Trail of Blood' and 'Pun Pun' when it came to tthe protagonist because he feels like a wet sock (and that's OK) as the author doesn't really spend enough time in letting us see through his insight and focus on the surrounding events make it a drag to read.

It has potential, because it is the manga medium, where the reader can take a peek at the characters' inner turmoil much more than live action dramas, but the way this is written and paced, feels much more like a Live TV drama, wasted potential.

At least the paneling, the pacing, and the visual aesthetics are nice.

OH THE MISERY, VERY SINGLE PERSON IS MY ENEMY

When this first started I was hooked. Story was interesting. Every character was miserable but had their own perspective on fixing it or coping with it. As the plot unfolded with the twists and turns, it kept me on my toes. But as we reach 140+ chapters it's starting to get over stay its welcome. While it's real with how things just keep happening whether you like it or not, story wise it looks like the author can and will keep dragging this out. Can't think of any "satisfying" endng for this.

If this was wrapped up like 60 chapters ago I would've gave it and 8+

Okay so this may be harsh, but this reminds me of a dumpster fire, it like shit, but you cant keep your eyes of it
Oor maybe a reality tv show where all the contestants are somehow acquainted with one another before the show and there are already bad blood between them

I will think of something much better once i have reread the manga again

Wtf was chapter 127,128,129 that fucking came out of no where. Like wtf

93 chapters later, i've come to a conclusion:
Comparing this one with Oyasumi Punpun (one of my favorites) This manga is overall good, drama is good, psychological plot is good, story telling is good enough... But then, theres only one issue, a big concern; CHARACTERS, they just feel surreal, artificial, cosmetic, some MCs are just plain, with no perks, no personalities afar from what is strictly required for plot's sake.
Literally speaking, there's only one character I can sympathize with, and it's just a secondary one.
This writter just doesn't know how to use his own characters, he keeps draging them all around, just so filling the gaps in the plot. I don't even care for them at this point, i just want to know if anyone is going to **** at the very end .
Oyasumi Punpun was way better in that regard.
Postdata: (Nozoe, the novelist, he is the only one character that seems like a real person, dealing with his problems like a real person would do, the rest of the characters are just insufferables drama queens or injustificables traumatized teenagers)

To the people who say that this series is trash while only reading the first few chapters, either read more of the manga or don't express your opinion, your comment cannot be valid as you have only read the first few chapters.

At the start I was thinking what the hell is this about but as the series went on I just got hooked not I cannot wait for the next week for the new chapter to come out, this story is really intriguing on how Reiji will end up and if he will in the end commit a lovers suicide with Nagi. I wake up every morning to think how this is going to end.

There's supposed to be a yandere-type character in this apparently? I wouldn't know since I only made it five chapters in and I'm not going further than that. All I got instead was cheap misery porn. Think I'd rather lobotomize myself than keep reading. Thanks for the recommendation yandere resources.

Welp they went and made everyones favorite chubby girl in this lose weight. Its really unenjoyable now like I know its a drama but this just feels like a spit in peoples faces to cause a reaction and that sucks. No girl is aloud to stay chubby in any mangas anymore I swear. 🙁 0/10 I am so discouraged anymore.

I feel like this manga only uses depression and suicidal themes to make this manga seem different. I personally don't feel any weight to those themes; it's there just for the sake of it, just for the sake of dramatics.

I think of it like this: pull out the depression/suicidal, it'll be just your regular ol' harem, borderline H manga.
