I really dislike teacher/student relationships. It just such an abuse of power that I can’t enjoy it. However I did like the short story with the main couple from the original story. They’re too cute!

I basically had to read this, not being a fan of side stories or side couples, i had to read this in order to read what was next... But i liked Hara sensei from previous stories, a nice character. So to believe the author found such a great match for him is incredible; Sorano was so likable that this story by itself was really great. I am surprised to be honest, even if the prequels were great there was no guarantee this would be the same, but it was, specially that last chapter.
Nice pace, nice characters and simlply beautiful...

Nakamura Asumiko-sensei did it again

This volume definitely ranks amongst my favourite works from the mangaka. Yes it's inconclusive, but keep in mind that there's more of the characters in the follow-up O.B., and for what it's worth in the span of this book, I think sensei hit the nail on its head with the characterisation as well as development as a whole. Each detail is there for a purpose, none seemed redundant or unnecessary, and one truly needs to take a closer look to fully appreciate how well-executed the story is. Of course it's not completely perfect, mostly because of, again, the length of time and space allowed in only 1 volume, and so the ending may feel a bit rushed, but as I've mentioned it's not the actual end of the story, so rest assure there. Overall I think fans of the mangaka should definitely give this a try.

People may complain about the art etc, but personally I think Nakamura-sensei's style is very unique and beautiful/gorgeous.
Damn I really felt sorry for Hara-sensei in Doukyuusei e.e
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Must be really really tough to have an unrequited love TWICE. But I loved the fact that he ended up with Sorano, someone completely opposite of his ideal type :p

Even though Hara is the oldest he is so shy and a total uke haha
Well, idk what else I can say about this. It was really cute and lovely. Only complaint though: I wish it was longer ;w;

Its nice that Hara gets a romance but it felt a bit like musical chairs and everyone just hoped onto the next one of an increasing age difference. It wasn't as satisfying as the rest of the series

Like it very much, buy I really wanna know what happened with Harasen and Sorano. Fif he get taller or not? >_<
I do think some of the chapters involving other couples were a little too long and did nothing to the original plot. Nevertheless, Hibiki and the other sensei were cute and REALISTIC! It's common from gays to get married to cover their sexuality, and eventually it really wears you off like it happened to sensei.

After all, cute cute cute :3
Ps: Hibiki sexy fish, and I want a boyfriend to Harasen's friend too ^^

I didn't like the mangaka before and after reading one of her popular works, I still don't like her. I don't like her drawing style... It's very cartoonish. I think Nakamura built up the plot so much but only to fall flat spectacularly. That is not a conclusion to the story!!! I need more!! I want to find out what happens after Sorano graduated... All that expectations just to recieve so little at the end... *sighs*

Oh my gosh! all nakamura asumiko's works are so special an unique, this isn't the exception i totally loved it! all the messed up feelings and humor makes this such a great manga.

It was so smooth and enjoyable and that dramatic fight scene oh my i just couldn't help but cry it was so intense and emotional.

I like the prequel better. I like this couple too but the addition of the old man couple turns me off. He is such a wimp, that keeps running away. And yeah, confessing that ur gay while ur wife is pregant is the worst idea I ever heard. And I wish there is more to the end.

This was a wonderful completion to Harasen's love story. Especially when old unrequited loves come and we get to learn about Harasen more in depth. Which is really cool! I really love how he got over his unrequited loves, so he found love in the end biggrin Hehe!

I was also rooting for the side couple, the ending had me in tears a bit.
