It's just too dumb, too bad and has no motive to exist.
Even if you don't read the title and think that is a complete original manga, it's really bad.
I can't even think in one little thing that i liked in this horrendous manga.
How can someone like this?

At least battle royale 1 gave us a nice conclusion after enduring the 100+ chapters in it, in just 19 chapters in this one I felt like I wasted my time reading it. The premise was shaky at best, the villian makes zero sense whatsoever, and the whole story came out as pointless.

A lot of interesting ideas that if handled right could have easily surpassed the first one, but unfortunately it wasn't.
As much as I love TOMIZAWA Hitoshi his art-style really doesn't work when you have a cast of 30+ characters all wearing the same thing. But at least the kids look like kids unlike the first series where some characters looked like they were in their late twenties to mid-thirties.

A different perspective on Blitz Royale

I was pretty shocked at first to see how much people seemed to hate this series, until I read some of the reviews and saw that everyone was comparing it to the original Battle Royale. In the context, I can easily see how this book would be a letdown. I, however, came to BR2 not as a BR fan, but a Hitoshi Tomizawa fan, giving me what is doubtless a very different perspective on the book.
BR2 is not a fantastic manga, but neither is it the utter trash people have been casting it as. It's a fairly solid story about a cruel Naval school where children are inducted and forced to fight and kill one another in a series of wargames, ostensibly to train future soldiers, but in mostly for the entertainment of the high-ranking officers. It features Tomizawa's characteristic ultra-cute art style, which creates a kind of cognitive dissonance with the grim subject matter that I think enhances the tone greatly. Unlike most of his work, however, BR2 deals with a fairly realistic, if far-fetched situation, and as such most of his strengths are not ever really allowed to come into play. Tomizawa is at his best when dealing with human/alien interaction, and BR2 lacks the magic spark that makes Alien Nine and Milk Closet so great. Still, if you're into the small, but increasingly well defined genre of "child abuse" manga, BR2 delivers the goods, and manages to do it reasonably stylishly.

This is probably the worst manga I've ever read. Everything about it is atrocious: the story, the lack of character development, the plotholes; all things that were absent from the original. But the real killer is the art. And I know, art doesn't necessarily make a manga, but in this case it COMPLETELY kills a manga which would otherwise be at least mediocre. The art is incredibly cartoony, and does not fit the style or tone of Battle Royale in any way, shape or form. Not only that, but the cartoonyness doesn't even look good in its own right. I've seen cartoony-looking mangas that are great on the eyes (One Piece, anyone?) but this is just awful. It looks like some second grader was just scribbling around on a piece of scratch paper. Well, I'm going to end the comment here, but I have many more gripes about this series. Bottom line: don't waste your time with this piece of shit.
Oh, and this is the ONLY time that I've ever stopped reading a manga before completing it.

That manga doesn't have much common with it's first Battle Royale, the caricature art in the previous manga created the mood. Here I can't just grasp the same feeling which I had while reading the original.
