I think the first half really goes all out with the imagery and dialogue that is supposed to make you uncomfortable, but the second half feels like the pacing slows significantly and in general everything feels not as tense or dire. I didn't connect as much as I'd hoped to with the characters, but I sense that this could be reassuring for certain members of the LGBTQ+.

The story does focus on the fashion aspect of "Boys Run the Riot" which I don't really know much about either, but I think fashion as it pertains to the story is explained well enough to see how it ties into the larger themes of rebellion and self-expression.

It's a worthwhile read, I just wanted more out of the experience.

This is one of the few good LGBTQ+ related mangas I actually liked! We have people already figured out, still figuring out and questioning themselves after some time about their sexual identity, so everything is covered! All in all it's still a slice of life as well for the other two main characters, the three of them make a good combination. Not sure if this was axed but there was still so much left to explore of the individual characters and their future plans with their brand. I especially loved how the class's reaction and involvement was portrayed in this one, since it does play major role in life.

Though there was still a lot unresolved it was a really good read. Defnitely recommend!
