Perhaps the best Miyashita manga

Unlike Otokojuku and its spin-offs which get repetitive after a while, Peerless has a solid plotline, and also it's a pleasure seeing the protagonist, Edajima, use his brain as much as his guts. The presence of historical figures gives it a more realistic vibe too (as much as that is possible in a Miyashita manga). Together with Sora yori takaku, I think it's my favorite Miyashita work!
