While the art work did throw me off a bit the progression of the story, it's pacing, the dialogues, and the framing of the characters, their movement's, is good. There's nothing really unnecessary and you can see that each and every panel builds towards the whole.
And the sweet-sweetness is just delicious. It's not over done, nor under.

Madarame-sensei is the most underrated mangaka ever. I love these type of stories about cheeky, overachieving semes and straight-laced ukes that fall in love so naturally and she is the best mangaka for these type of stories.

The ratings for this particular one-shot are very misleading in my opinion. I consider it to be pretty decent, it's quite cute and sexy at the same time. The characters are loveable, a bit cheeky in a good way, but none too annoyingly stupid or arrogant etc. The story's nothing extravagant but rather simple and relatable, something normally in my favour. And it's got its humourous moments too. No wonder this one-shot has a different author, I knew Madarame Hiro could never write something like this.
