Not my thing

The story though nothing extraordinary is actually fine and could've made for a nice, heartwarming romance of a mature couple, but gosh I just can't stand the art style at all nor how lukewarm and insipid it made the potentially indulgent premise become. All the pointy yaoi chins and creepily awkward facial expressions.. yeahh *shudders*
Manga is a visual medium so when one looks so blah like this it's impossible to enjoy the story no matter how good it could be, and this one wasn't even that good.

A really lovely and innocent romance ^__^ All the characters are likeable and the love between the two main characters is so sweet, especially on Masumi's part - he is a perfect caring seme <3 I also love older ukes so that made this even better for me. Plus the female characters aren't annoying or evil (which makes a delightful change in the world of yaoi!)
The art is simply wonderful, it's very clean and pretty throughout, and the blushing chibis are adorable smile

A very endearing, lighthearted read which can make your heart swell of it's sweetness. I loved how peculiar and unpredictable the plot was- at first I really didn't know what to expect out of it, and it turned out to be quite a surprise, especially the shoujo-ai part. Character-wise, I loved how Itsuki Kaname made a really compatible pairing out of a middle-aged uke, not to mention, he's the father-in-law AND as twice as old as the seme and the slowly growing romantic feelings coming about. The events flew really smooth between them and you couldn't help but get carried away by their overflowing emotions. The art made it lovely even more. I honestly couldn't count the number of times I've read this and reading this over and over made me realize how beautifully crafted this series was.

It was okay. I was actually more interested in the daughter's story. The father was just too bland for me. The story wasn't that tight, and it lacked the ability to draw me in.

Not bad, but not so great either. The art was better than the story.

I liked this Manga very much. It didn't rush into things and the characters were very likeable. The art was very beautiful. Every single person in this book was gorgeous! Plus the story was very nice and sensitive with depth to it. I'd definitely recommend it!

I've read it numerous times myself. ^_^ I really wasn't expecting much from this story once I began reading it but boy did it blow off my expectations!! It turned out a million times better than I thought it would and I was pleasently surprised.

Shoutarou and Masumi are two very well created characters. Though this is a short manga, five chapters, the characters have debth and almost become life-like which is a talent most mangaka's have trouble doing with their characters.

Shoutarou's feelings for the older Masumi are apparent from the very beginning but don't think for a second that this manga is predictable because it isn't. It has a very big twist which surprised me yet wrapped up the story quite nicely. Shoutarou is one of those patient, kind and adorable Semes that I just LOVE seeing in yaoi and Masumi is a mature yet bashful at Uke at times. A nice change from those cry baby ukes who are lost for most of the story. ^_^;

The gorgeous art was just an awsome added bonus. I'm extremely picky about the art and this one certainly did not dissappoint me. It's truly a must read and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

This is far from my usual angsty, smutty yaoi. However, the storyline is very nice. It's kind of refreshing to read something different from your usual cliched yaoi. It's like a breath of fresh air. If you are looking for a manga with a good storyline and light action, this is for you. But if you're looking for your usual hardcore yaoi, skip out on this because this is not the type of action you're seeking.

Hehe, this was really quite a nice manga. Its nice and light and the art is beautiful, its also funny in places and touching in others. Its not an exciting or fast paced story though, but i would definitely recommend reading it. Its cute, its fluffy and the characters are great.

not particularly realistic or deep, but rather sweet. and hey, nothing is forced here! love the sub-plot, because while i caught onto the main plot right away, i didn't see that coming. the drama of this story lies in the little things; there is no big upheaval, no rivals, no stupid misunderstandings. it didn't touch me where i live, but it was very nice overall.

i wish itsuki did more of these, because i really enjoy her art, but don't care for shota or shota-esque characters.
