Okay, one thing that has been bothering me is all the reviews stating that they don't know why people hate this manga so much. So let me address that issue first:



And I feel that they're completely justified in their assessment. If you don't agree then that's fine. That doesn't mean I'll think it's any less of a mess though.

There is sooooooo much crap wrong with this train wreck of a manga that I don't even know where to begin. No character development, zero plot, zero cohesion, crappy art... First of all, Seri and her boyfriend are dumb *sses, plain and simple. There is no reason, NO REASON for this girl to take all the abuse that she is receiving. I could even understand it happening once, maybe twice, but why would you continue to put yourself in blatantly dangerous situations over and over again? Don't be alone with people who tend to enjoy assaulting you. How was that simple concept not a thing with her? How? HOW? And even if you disregard something as logical as that, she was in f*cking high school and had female friends. So it is highly unlikely that she couldn't have at least heard something from one of them that could have helped her make halfway reasonable choices, as she obviously had no common sense of her own. Instead, she was nothing more than a living blow up doll..

And then this idiot tells her boyfriend not to bother about her being assaulted by other guys... Really? Some other person, who is not you, has to worry about your well-being before you will? Really? Is that what we're doing now, Seri? Really?

Honest;y, if I sat here and commented on everything wrong with this sh*t manga, I'm sure I'd have written something close to a novella before everything is said and done. The mangaka should have just made this a complete hentai series, because that's exactly what this stupid series is on par with. And there's still yet hentai that's entertaining enough to put this crap to shame without even trying that hard. It would have been better than parading this series around as something that it was not. This was just some rape-fetish hentai parading itself as shoujo smut with a story, people.

I tend to not use the word "slut" that often. In this case though, I'd have to say that Seri is exactly that. Otherwise, why would she constantly put herself in situations that she knows full well could escalate, as they tend to every--single--time?

Also, Seri is not emotionally weak, ignorant or even naive. Those things can be remedied. She's just stupid. Trying to help her would be a lost cause.

This was, by far, the worst manga that I've ever read--ever. Wish I could just rate it a negative so that other users could be creative and put their own numbers behind the negative sign...

I still remember all those rapes or the attempts to rape.....Oh god why does the author put so much rape in the manga? and to think she wrote "second rape". Why does every manga written by Minami Kanan have the this ---> The girl gets friendly even with the guy who rapes or attempts to rape her! And the female lead is always stupid when it comes to choosing the right thing!

But overall, its a nice manga in my opinion. I hate rapes so meh... but there is decent amount of smut. If rape doesnt bother you, or if you can stomach at least this much rape, then go ahead and read it Oh and it feels good when the bad guys become the good guys later XD I mean that Takarai wasnt bad so I was happy. I mean he was bad but then he fell in love with Seri and all..... And it is also kinda weird to see Io as an antagonist. Even though he was taking revenge for his mother, he was actually placed as a bad guy. While imo, he actually did something good by taking revenge.

I don't remember much of the manga since it's been a handful of years since I've finished it. It took a long time to finish. One of the longest works I had read at the time(and waiting for the new chapter releases were painful). Back then I was into shoujo, then smut, and now also josei. If this series wasn't so smutty I wouldn't have put up with so many volumes. I recall that I wasn't exactly satisfied with the ending, as I'm the type that likes an elaborate happy ending with lovey-dovey characters. I was still young and innocent, that I didn't know what that stuff that came from between Seri's legs were and found it weird, but I didn't dislike it(laughs). To put it simply this is a very colorful or bountiful manga. It's got more than the usual romance fluff and/or sex. It's got a good(complex/twisty) story and a wide range of characters that makes it an interesting read. This is the first work I read from this mangaka and I've gone on to read others but this one is the smuttiest in my opinion.
I pitied Takarai, poor guy(nervous laugh).

I've reread the manga a few times before after finishing it for the smut but I've since read better stories. I suggest picking this up if you don't have anything better to read and your expectations(and morals) aren't too high.

It's really hard to believe that the same mangaka that wrote Kyokou Shinwa ~Sekando Reipu~ could write a manga so filled with rape. What happened with those three pages of author's notes about how terrible rape is or is it only how others react to rape that's wrong? She should be ashamed.

I remember looking at this manga back in 2008 after reading an online article on how the shoujo world has turned into smut and sex (even some shoujo mags were showing their readers how to have good sex with random douches like hair dressers and shits). And truly, there was nothing in this but mindless people whose world revolved around only physical and mental sex. I didn't really get how could the girl actually revise for her exams while being fingered by the guy. And when threatened by that principal's son (?) didn't do or say anything for her own defense. She was in karate for God's sake. And all she did was acting tough but when a guy rape her, she just allowed it. Wow! What a terrific scene of the youth today. My God, my mind was so screwed after skimming a few chapters of this.

I wonder how Japan actually making money and living like such a great nation with people, depicted in this manga, whose activities are just... non-productive (they didn't even give births for the sake of the aging nation)!

Anyway, this might be a change, a taste/preference for some people. But well, those just occupy an 1/10 for my rating.

This manga is REALLY good, in my opinion. I really liked it. I don't understand why people would disagree. A very good plot was set up very nicely. Even though the end gets a little boring.
