There is so much happening in this story that you just don't have enough space to deal with all of it properly. You have the reincarnation subplot, then Kyousuke's mercenary past and PTSD, then the Kyousuke/Lune romance-in-the-present subplot, then the subplot with Masaki, then the subplot with Lune being targeted by assassins. Just let things breathe! And it all ends up mediocre because of it.
I didn't really like
The last point in particular felt like a hasty solution to end the story because there were too few pages left to put in an explanation that didn't feel like an ass-pull.
Anyway, it's pretty normal for a Naono Bohra manga, with the tsundere oyaji uke and comedy that just detracts from time that could be spent on character development (for some reason, the comedy in her recent works has been lacking). As it is, the entire story ends up being superficial, which is a pity because some bits were neat.

I didn't really like
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
the role reversal with Kyousuke being the uke, because it feels like that's all Naono Bohra has been doing for ages, so it's not even surprising anymore. And how Kyousuke turns from spirited to mopey and needy so fast (another common thing with Naono Bohra's ukes). And the plot twist with Lune being the reincarnation of a witch who can literally revive dead people, apparently?

Coming from a fan of Naono-sensei, I'd say I love the idea of them being reincarnated with Lune being a

with Lune having power and is a witch out of nowhere
without any backstory to that and we reached an end already. It'd be good if the story being developed more. You must login to comment for this series! Register an account.
