Pairing: Aomine x Kuroko
1 Volume (Complete)

So the beginning of this doujinshi prepped me up for some hard-hitting angst and while typical, if done well it could be a powerful story about two men overcoming social stigma to be together. Unfortunately the author completely butchered that premise with a very banal and uninspiring execution and just a surly, unpleasant charaterisation of Kuroko, making it nearly impossible to feel anything for the characters whatsoever. The art is also a big letdown, with rigid and robotic frames that are unable to deliver any nuance of emotions, and most of the time you can tell the artist just isn't capable of drawing the right facial expressions that the scene calls for at all. A painfully flat and irritating read, if I have to be honest.
