I start reading it without any expectations and it was really good, amazing.

The whole idea of the game is all about him, based of his own life, mental crisis and everything he becomes after suffering so much, he basically going crazy and made an imaginary friend based from his childhood memories and all his trauma and loneliness, he made a guy who is not weak, will fight back and kill the whole world without even any reason bcz he lost all his trust for the world and ppl.

It's so sad bcz he actually want everything Abyss wanted, he want a family, friend, partner and ... Abyss is him in the world he created based of his reality, he can't manage to have a rs entire his life and clearly depressed and being alone for 27 years have a great affect on his mental health.

In the end I can say he made a world/hell based of his tragic life without any hope and full of darkness but in the end he just want to save and heal himself instead given up so he can live on, he just want to have a better life and I believe the key is to loving yourself even with your all flaw , dark thought and trauma. U can say a person who knows what being lonely entire your life, wrote it. Totally recommend.

Dawg. Mc is 25 and ml is 16 current time 😬😬

The age gap 😭😭 are they gonna fall in love here that's weird AND MC IS CALLING HIMSELF ML’s DAD + And even if they don't do anything in this time-line, it still setting up to feel kinda groomy

Dropped at ch2, if i had a nickel for everytime a chinese transmigration manhua had the mc literally raise the ml I'd have two nickels, not a lot but it's still weird that it happened twice

It's very cute. There were a few plot points I didn't see coming, but they weren't so far out there that they didn't fit the story (which is how some media tries to shock the audience). Overall a very cute story with wonky timelines that if you look at from a science created time travel point of view would be paradoxical, but in magic based systems they can use the sense it was always meant to be that way/higher power is in control and wants it that way etc so it works here (although we only see the higher power of the abyss game it is referenced that there are higher powers above that one). There's enough foreshadowing that a lot of the future plot points can be guessed, but it's not so obvious that it's boring. Overall it's very cute, and I love that the main story ended with the Nietzsche quote "Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you." directly referenced/paraphrased (possibly because it's translated, so if the original quote was translated from German to Chinese to English it wouldn't necessarily look the same as German to English, but it added the word obviously which I think was an intentional choice in the original Chinese version of the story because it fit well but I don't actually know for sure because I can't read the Chinese version). I saw a comment about it being the most wholesome interpretation of that quote, and a response that Nietzsche is rolling over in his grave and I think that's hilarious so I'm mentioning that (Although the themes actually fits with the concept of don't let yourself become a monster when you fight monsters so maybe Nietzsche wouldn't actually mind) haha

Overall, I really enjoyed the story. I found it confusing at times and had some other issues with it, but it was still good.

An issue I had with it in particular was a really weird statement about bisexual people the author slipped in. To quote: “Most of them are extremely loyal to their partners, but there is also a small group who can not control themselves and must satisfy their needs for both genders. Even if they are able to maintain a long term relationship with one individual, they still develop a desire for other bodies. And desire always propagates trouble.”

For context, this is referring to a bisexual man who r*ped and murdered a woman while in a relationship with a man. They put a disclaimer that says “only referring to a small group of people, not the entire population.” But the statement was just so unnecessary and wrong. Being bisexual has absolutely nothing to do with the desire to cheat on and assault people.

Although that really bothered me personally, I wouldn’t let it stop you from reading this story. It had a lot of good aspects. The art was nice, the plot was interesting, the characters were well developed, and it was pretty well written. There were definitely a couple parts I found confusing, mostly related to the whole multiple world/timeloop/world consciousness stuff. But, it was pretty easy to just keep reading and ignore the stuff I couldn’t really grasp. Sure there were some plot holes here and there, and yeah it could have been written better, but I really enjoyed it and I would definitely recommend it. Also, the main couple is just so cute!!! Prince is one of my favorite MCs ever.
