Akira is a young girl who, while not a recluse, is incredibly awkward when it comes to socializing. She desperately wants to make a friend, but it seems like it will take ages before that will ever happen.

I was just getting into the manga when it ended. I'm very disappointed that aside from a crush that only lasted a few pages, there no romance what so ever. There's very little character development, or more like it was there but there weren't enough chapters. I really wanted to know if they were all going to be paired up and how Akira would get our of her shell more but I had to look on here to see if there was a mistake with the story ending there.
Its true that we all know that a life for a character goes on without us seeing them when they leave the page, but here, we really didn't get the opportunity to look past the one-sided-ness of these characters to really enjoy their lives. For a light hearted read, this was not bad. I was really left wondering about many people, however, as their quirks or personality traits were more or less told to me and not shown in a natural way, therefore making them very one-dimensional in my opinion.
This has very good potential, but ended far too early for me. If you want a light, non-committal, cute read, this is ok. Otherwise, it's easy enough to pass on this and forget it.
