Description
As the heir to the Yooshin corporation, Yoo Taehyuk is living his best life. However, everything changes when he’s informed that the dragon, the patron deity of the Yoo family, wants to forsake them to be with his mate. When his sister is asked to take the fall for the family and announce herself as the dragon’s mate, Taehyuk steps up instead. He agrees to meet the dragon in the hopes that he can convince him to stay. But will Taehyuk succeed in slithering into the impervious dragon’s good graces or get under his scales?

I read up to ch 54 so I have to say I'm not sure what I'm reading about other than the dragon LI is looking for his lost mate in the modern world. I feel like this is one of those moments where I zone out because the plot is just so thin and unsubstantial. We finally get some kind of plot progress but it made things really awkward now because it made what I thought was a wholesome relationship into a weird direction where I'm going rather not.
Also, this is one of the first webtoons I read where it's completely uncensored in r18 scenes so I figured I'd mention it since I'm so used to the lightsabers world. It's kind of you know what you're getting into after reading the first few pages and yeah this is that kind of BL so depends if you're into size difference and buff boys who cry a lot.
FWIW: For anyone else who is curious almost all the R18 scenes are dubcon so YMMV. I mean, the LI is super problematic but not in the way you'd expect him to be since he's emotionally manipulative and controlling the MC's life along you know the entire being powerful dragon to change or ruin the kingdoms and all.

The good one, my favorite manhwa bl on the first of 2023, unique plot, beautiful art! Highly recommend!
I mean...what can I say. For sure a must read for people into big busted men. Dawn of the Dragon has everything: interesting (yet of course a tiny bit cliche) plot; really excellent art; really nice character designs; REALLY good smut. Both the main characters and side characters are super enjoyable and memorable with established and consistent personalities.
The reveal is a bit cliche but the hopeful romantic in me loved it and I mean of course
The author's first debut work Love Plan is a tiny bit similar to Dawn of the Dragon (the MC's personalities and their relationship dynamic) so I recommend reading that also!

I LOVE IT SO MUCH, ITS PRETTY GOOD, I really like Hyo-un and Tae-hyuk, they're really cute. I HOPE THAT SS2 WILL BE OUT FAST, SEASON 2 GET QUICKLY PLEASEEEEEEEE
OMG...I have so many goosebumps from finally seeing his Dragon Form (ch. 27)! 🥰 it blew me away, honestly 💖 and his absolute conviction about knowing what he wants come what may and his terrifying implied promise of retribution should anything take Taehyuk away from him (while the darkness within begins to envelope them both) is just the jolt of electricity it needed. I absolutely HATE that I can't consume the entire series immediately. It's that good 🤩
26 episodes in and I feel like the dragon is crying in at least half of them. It's kinda funny and endearing. Makes him seem less scary....because he looks really scary otherwise.
41 episodes in and the story keeps getting better!
54 episodes in and I'm not a fan of extended "here's what happened in the past" arcs. Their history was predictable. Glad the history arc will probably be ending soon. Still love this series as much as ever.
