Beautiful art (most of the time), that's pretty much all the good things I can say about this manhua. The MC is not bad too but she lacks depth, it's not clear what she thinks or wants or if she accepts her position or wants to run, and so on. She's a modern woman that doesn't look kindly on her situation yet she doesn't do much to try to change it, nor to accept it since she says she wants to run away but when she has the chance she doesn't, she's annoyed at the guy after acting like a jackass on several occasions yet is touched by given a cloak after falling in the water in a cold day... I'd say not giving her the cloak is prone to judgement, giving it should be "as expected", hardly a warming act, she is his concubine after all, even if till 2 days ago he didn't even know she had "married" him... and so on.
As for the bad, the male lead is as cliched as they come, from the point of view of a modern person, he's not particularly likable, this is a recurrent male type that appears in shoujos meaning this is what women that read this kind of manga fantasize about, a "bad" guy which after meeting them magically becomes soft for them... also, from the point of view of the guy, the MC should appear to have a screw loose, disrespectful and unrefined, if that was what cough his attention so be it but it ain't, a brooch and a game are why he notices her... These interactions are pretty much all there is to the story and to be honest how their feeling start and grow is not very realistic nor relate-able (for me at least), I like shoujo manga but as a man I prefer a bit more to a story, so yeah, for shoujo fans, not my cup of tea, 20ch were enough, dropped.
