Description
Meet Yutaka Hanagasaki, a 20-year-old gardener at the theme park Fuegaoka. Meet Merun-chan, the mascot of Fuegaoka, with lots of popularity. Hanagasaki just so happens to secretly like her, but can never work up the courage to even talk to her, always admiring her from afar like a flower. A sweet story of how Hanagasaki works up the courage and becomes closer to Merun!

This was a good manga, but it left a vague open ending.

It's strongly hinted at they will be together in the end after she finishes her nursing program, but it would have been nice to see it.
This story is lovely and cute. Don't have unnecessary drama and is not dragged. Little by little their relationship grows. Is a innocent romance, is not perfect, but is pretty good.
Probably this manga got axed, but got wrapped up nicely. The ending is good and fit well with the overall feeling of the story (and the male protagonist personality). At the same time, the ending feels a bit lacking because one wish to see and know more about this cute couple.
That final scene... like Karin said: "it's just like him". In a way it is original. You may like it, accept it or don't like it and thing it should be different; but it doesn't affect the manga and you know how they will end.
It'd be great if the author make an extra chapter. This is a good read and I think is worth your time.

I found the girl too much the epitome of cute. EVERY single thing she does is portrayed in a cute manner. It really got on my nerves how unreal she felt.
The guy's okay. Even though I like "innocent" male types in manga, I strangely didn't find his actions particularly cute. Just more like an average guy fumbling.

So far, it's a really cute series with great progress (and potential). The main character is a shy gardener who harbors a crush on the amusement park mascot, Karin. The story's focused on how they develop their relationship. All the characters are very likable, reasonable, and quite considerate of each other's feelings. Development is also pretty well paced. The art is kind of shoujo style with thin lines and less detail, but works well for the story. The bits of fanservice are much more subtle than the usual (ie cute costumes) and don't distract much from the actual story.
It's basically a more mature version of a cute shoujo from a male POV. Overall, it's shaping up to be a satisfying series.
