I usually enjoy almost everything I read, but this love interest… he didn’t seem into it at any point in the manga. He felt aromantic which is great, but it still just felt like he wasn’t into it—not the relationship or the protagonist. I’m ace so I get “not understanding” something like romance or attraction, but this guy… felt forced and one sided. Art was pretty though!

Mixing work with pleasure?

I'm just a sucker for glasses on my ukes. Reading it made me feel for Satoru and made me think about my own views on love. Then again, I'm probably just projecting. It's also neat to see his brother show up in all of his baby face glory, ahaha. A decent amount of smut to be had for the sake of plot, but I wasn't upset by it because it felt reasonable enough to include? It's a fun relationship that forms between Shishio and Satoru.

A little of everything

First volume was very fun and fresh, I laughed a lot and wanted to know what was going to happen with these somewhat quirky characters.
Then second volume gets more introspective, there are some fun moments but the tone gets a little more dramatic. It's not bad, but it feels like a typical bl compared to the more original first volume.

Love Chiaki sensei other work and when I heard that she made a spin off to her other work I was excited. The story is pretty simple yet a bit different from many BL I read however it similar to My favorite work from her with “the secret of me and my boss” as I felt a very emotional attachment to that one but not at much as this one. This is a plenty of comedy t be side as the main character who made a appear in the her other title still remains but this time with a editior who tries to work with sensei and the problem of love.
There’s even a bonus chapter related to the other work that sensei is also in which is a treat.
Very fun read.
