Man this is mess up. Not a re read for me but still I can't knock that is well illustrated and tightly written. Reading Harada is like getting a beautiful delicous apple but once you bite into it there is a worm inside.

this is really really twisted, dark and awesome.
It is NOT a romance, not in any case. Even if it seems to be - it's not. This is a relationsship between a psychopath and his victim, and the best part is: You tend to forget that, a little bit, just like the main character, only to realize a bit later: It's not real, it's an act. You tend to sympathise, to forgive the romantic interest for his redeeming acts, only to realize later on: Nope, he didn't deserve your forgiveness at all, the bastard.
I also really love the ending - it's abrupt, that's true, but I don't think there was any way to end this story better.
I came for the art style in the cover, but stayed for the story, as said art style tends to be erratic. Story however is very intense and worthwile. I'd recommend this only for older readers, as it is incredibly dark and twisted. I repeat, this is not an romance at all. Keep that in mind!

Because it's a cycle: Psycho acts unforgiveable, Victim hates him and leaves him, Psycho acts nice/pitiful or otherwise manipulates him, Victim gets back to him. Rinse and repeat. This will get more and more extreme, he'll be more successfull isolating and manipulating him until the naive Victim can never, ever leave him, his self-confidence absolutely destroyed, only feeling safe with his psychopathic boyfriend.
There's no happy end here. There never will be. And creating one would have been unrealistic, because the psychopath will not change - he has proven it so far. There's no empathy there. He wants his victim, and his victim he'll get.

This seme is so twisted, I can't help but like him. The dude may literally be insane. He's manipulative, psychotic, possessive, obsessive, desperate, unhinged... yet is also really sweet on the uke.

He doesn't know how to just ask someone out like a normal person, so he goes through this crazy, convoluted roundabout way to make the uke stay by his side forever.
This kinda thing is so right up my alley. The psychological element really tickled my kink. And yet the story itself isn't an angsty sob story. It's just dark, twisted fun. Man, I really want more of this manga.... Last updated on July 18th, 2018, 1:53pm

This. Was. Gorgeous. From so many points. Yes, there were some things that I would like to see in more detail, but what we have is enough.
Harada plays with her audience, making the usual tropes work against us. You know what you will get when you see 'Harada', but you're never sure. And she uses the tropes to make you even less sure. And that's why when that panel comes, you feel it all the more.
She gives us a hint as to uke's motivations too - that's the topic I'd love to see more about, but, again, ONE PHRASE is enough.
It's rare when you finish a manga with "Wow, this was terrible" ringing in your head - but in a wonderful way. It was human terribleness and twistedness shown from a right angle, and with correct framing.
A beautiful study into human psychology.

I like it. I will probably read it again. I did not like the ending, too abrupt.
Is it twisted? Yes. Is it classic Harada? Also a Yes. Read it for the thrill and not for the romance. If you're not a fan of possessive/obsessive/psycho semes I strongly advise you to skip this. Reading this manga is definitely a ride that you gotta prepare for lol.

A typical work of Hanada-sensei, whose thought-provoking plots bring you from one surprise to another...
Sensei made a point that love is different for everyone, which is why the twisted seme put such a tremendous effort into chasing the uke, hence he makes you feel pitiful and kind of wish for his happy ending.
Gotta say it is neither a relaxing nor moving manga, but it really did give me shivers - such a thrilling and intriguing reading experience.

So we went full psychological with this one huh sensei. Not gonna spoil anything about the story, just wanna say that it went freaking nuts and I just.. haizz. But one thing I can't complain about is the delivery for sure; as usual Harada played to her strengths well and transformed her dark and twisted ideas into the most effective product bc it sure was a thrilling reading experience. Now am I going to reread the manga anytime soon in the near future out of my own will? That's a no from me.
I thought this will be a normal story

But shit...I feel sooo bad for the MC!! He...is a normal, cute guy. So likable!
Which makes the story even better!! I loveeeee this

I for some reason thought this might be a normal story from Harada for once ha
If you've read their work before, you know what you're getting into.
If you haven't, just prepare yourself for come crazy messed up s**t, Not the most depressing/f***ed up work from Harada, but still super manipulative and weird.
I love Harada's works, but this is probably my least favorite, so far (soley due to Fukusuke); we will see what the second volume brings.
