Everyone sucks and has terrible morals besides one person but that's what makes it interesting. The ending was doable I would say but the escalation from just the classroom to going public via news was kinda sudden but that was it. MC was smart and enjoyable to watch as she does he shenanigans.

Seemed a bit unrealistic in terms of execution, but...

Really good story that keeps you on your toes. The main character is morally ambiguous (in a realistic, common way) and portrayed to be very clever/street-smart. Her foil is shown to be this awkward but kindhearted student who is clearly the persistent moral compass of the series. The story is an exploration of the famous Stanford prison experiment and does it pretty well. A lot of the side characters are 3-dimensional and given their own unique perspective (although often morally questionable ones).

I binged the whole thing over 2 days. My only gripe is that the whole thing just seems a bit unrealistic to pull off, so it was a bit hard to fully suspend my disbelief. Like, if students were really being tortured to this extent why were they not trying to secretly record this and file report to the police or whatever? If the author included this earlier in the story and showed why it would not have worked in a believable way, I would have had an easier time swallowing it. Otherwise, totally recommend this series.

Greaaaaaat drama

So many things well done with this webtoon! First with the amazing pacing, development, storyline. It was intense from start to finish and there was never a dull moment. Love the orchestrations and the plotting. The characters were all so fleshed out and everything was carefully planned by the author. Nobody was a victim, and yet everybody was a victim -- it's the same deal if you replace the word "victim" with "perpetrator" too. And that's the beauty of how the author wrote this out, because bullying and drama isn't so easily black and white. Everyone has a story behind them.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Even Eunbyeol, the one who can't be forgiven because she's *actually* evil, but that's just how things are irl too. Some people are just like that.

The ending felt a bit rushed for sure. Took an unexpected turn, but it was still for the best of everyone LOL. Appreciate the timeskip and the spin-offs at the end too, but would've loved to see more of the other characters. That's how much you get attached to them (even though it was so easy to forget who's who 🤣).

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
There is some implied GL at the end too, which was kind of expected but also kind of unnecessary. This was never a romance to begin with and the story didn't need it either, but I think the author was giving what the people wanted 🤭. Not a bad thing, just out of place.

+ Also find it funny how the negative comments for this webtoon are SO very hateful. This Webtoon is supposed to rile you up! It's gotta be exaggerated to some extent! The author managed to weave in all the elements in a coherent manner. There are way more unrealistic and even worse Webtoons out there. 😂

Oh shoot some of these comments and ratings are harsh and low! Well, I seriously enjoyed this series from start to finish. I loved all the characters (really loved Doa! and Hyejeong), they were so well done, complex, real, and displayed character growth. Most, anyway -- some are likeable like our protagonist while others make you go UGH. Otherwise, there are so many of them you don't / can't remember them all 😅.

The whole plot, story and pacing were done very well too -- I was so invested in what was going to happen next that the 100 episodes flew by. Although the ending seemed a bit rushed and dramatic (some scenes at the end weren't even drawn properly), I liked it overall. Very enjoyable as a story.

The worst webtoon

This webtoon is terrible. The author try their best to justify the reason for all wrongdoings of the villains, but they’re just nonsense. I feel more and more angry towards the end and decided to drop it. Keep away from all webtoons from this author because the way of their thinking is not logical.

A good mind wrecking thriller

While some parts of the story may seem entirely unrealistic, I don’t see that it is that bad to the point where it is entirely droppable. Let’s be honest, you can’t expect every webtoon to be very realistic. There will be some parts where it is unrealistic however as long as it does not affect the story in general, I don’t see why can’t there be unrealism. Webtoons are meant to be for entertainment and also to serve a message for some.

Suji is a very witty and smart character, and also manipulative. She knows her way with people. She doesn’t succeed in outsmarting the antagonist all the time, she has also failed a few times. And she learns from it. However, I think the most interesting character in this story would be Jaeun.

Jaeun is kind, kinda naive and very trusting of people. She doesn’t wants to hurt people and doesn’t want to use them for her own gain. Quite the opposite of Suji. But she gets her character development towards season 3.

Everyone in the story has their own flaws and have something to hide. Something they don’t want to let anyone know. Just like how it is in society — everyone have their own secrets that they don’t want people to know. The mind games in this story are just so unpredictable which is what makes this story interesting

Unrealistic, black-and-white characters

Just a dumb school drama with no sense or uniqueness. The bullied characters get visible injured, which is a crime you can report to the police. And yet, nobody does. Why? No reason given, or „bEcAuSe tHeiR pAreNtS haVe cOnNeCtiOnS“. Right, because some random company boss controls all of the countrys judicial and executive powers, totally believable. /s

That‘s what I mean with unrealistic. Not to mention that even in worst case the bullied could install mini cameras (you can get good ones for 50-100$ at Amazon) to film the crimes and upload it to the internet and/or give it to local newspapers. Let the good ol‘ mob judge that fucked up school. But nothing of that happens.

The characters are mostly boring, all-evil cartoon characters. The artwork is bland and the bullying isn‘t even smart/cunning. Just straight-up beating.

The other two reviewers should read some actual good webtoons to know how a story like this is supposed to be told.

I read until ch. 15 before rage-quitting this stupid story. I read the latest chapters (49-51) and it obviously didn‘t change at all.

So good! Love the MC. Shes smart, quickwitted and while she is a good person, is not stupid and knows how to play a game.

Having finished the entire thing, I like it. I didnt enjoy as much the second/final part cos things got "out of hands", but still worth it ¿Por qué debería ser enteramente realista para poder disfrutarlo? Es una ridiculez.
The above reviewer should do her/himself a favor and try to be less petulante.

Clever protagonist

Update 11/6/21: I’m really liking this series more and more the further I read. The protagonist is so shrewd and I love seeing how she’s getting things to change and how all the manipulations work out, and also just getting a look at a hardened, pessimistic view of people in Suji versus a more innocent and trusting view in Ja Eun. Really excited to see things play out!

4/14/21: This story isn’t that far along in English yet, but so far I’ve liked it. I appreciate the somewhat morally ambiguous MC but admire her for her wits with dealing with the social hierarchy. To be honest, it’s currently frustrating to read because the MC is in a horrible situation and as a reader I can’t figure out if there would be any good way to get out of the situation if it were me. It’s a fresh story overall!
