This story was my first in the magical girl genre (and last I might add). It was cute and sweet but the plot was shaky at some times and in the end it failed to really be all that interesting.
Plot- Like I said, it's overly simple and is only average. It was an interesting take in the Cinderella story, and wasn't horrible, but at the end I didn't quite care overly about what happened to the characters and felt it had not progressed very far.
Characters- Pretty typical characters. The girl was a little weak, but not overly much that it got to annoying. The two main guys are opposite of each other, overly sweet and overly rude. Stock characters placed in a plot that wasn’t all that great.
Art- Older art, but not too bad and the designs were appealing.
Other- I watched the anime, and it is TONS BETTER, so if you're interested in this manga don't read this and watched the anime! In fact, I'm going to give an anime review right now!
Pretear: the anime
Plot- Much, much better than the manga! I watched the anime before reading the manga and was very disappointed by the manga. The anime adds more interesting plot development and adds great twists that solve a lot of the problems I later found in the manga. It's interesting, still rushed, but lots better to a point that I even enjoyed it.
Characters- The characters got DEPTH! There were a few especially who got amazing dimension that made them very interesting and different than from what you would expect from stock characters they first appeared to be like. The girl gets some more strength, and the two males become more than a loose ended love triangle.
Art- Pretty much the same... but animated...
Other- WATCH THE ANIME!
Manga: 3/10- Not that good
Anime: 6/10- Liked it
