I didn't expect to cry

......I honestly nearly wanted to drop this series because of Hye Min and Sin Bi's odd relationship, but Ma Ha made me go on. He is the whole reason I held on. Then the fact that the characters are so stubborn is actually related in life. No matter how much we say we wish to change, it is never that easy. Anyways, MA HA'S ACTIOMS MAKE ME SQUEAL AND CRYYYY. Anyone interested should hold on till hm... maybe vol 4? It definite gets better and will frustrate you but trust me, it is worth it. Especially for a romance story.

The story had a really good set-up and was doing well until the 7th volume when everything headed downhill. I really disliked the ultimate pairing. I feel like a lot of the plotting there felt forced, and I really didn't like it.

Bitter Sweet Aftertaste

After a few volumes in it started to feel over-dramatic but then I gave it a bit more thought.
It is meant to be a story about beautiful out-of-the-world characters.
So in that sense, it was realistic in an unrealistic way.

I couldn't have imagined a more suitable ending for Shin Bi (who was by far my favorite and most tragically attractive character)
The feels~! So tragic but I wouldn't have had it any other way!
After what need to be known is known and what could have been done is done, the story ends wonderfully.

WAAAAAY too dramatic

It's so weird. They exaggerate on EVERYTHING. So she has no friends. So she shuts herself off. It's not like it's the end of the world. This guy takes about a whole chapter realizing that what he has been doing was wrong --

dating girls just for fun and dumping them when he's bored

And nothing gets solved. They contemplate over this and that but they do nothing to help it. Y'know what, I'm just not a good type of audience for this manwha. What's wrong with a pretty girl being surrounded by pretty people pretending to care about her anyway.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
She likes the attention and knows they're pretending to so win-win.

/edit At least the ending wasn't exaggerated.

Dramatic and tragic

This reminded me of Flowers of Evil, the popular boy, the pretty girl and her relative, etc etc. But the ending is very different. It's a happier ending, despite the tragic twist. There is a lot of meaningless banter in the story that makes it somewhat slow but towards the end, it gets really dramatic and I couldn't stop reading. If you are a fan of dramatic love stories this is a must read but if you are searching for a light read then this isn't it.

As some have said, it's started out really good...but somewhere in the middle you just have to go "WTF?"
I liked the ending, I like when characters realize their mistakes and not have them forget about the people they hurt...
Spoiler (highlight to view)
Since I don't like love triangles that never get solved, meaning that one party will forever remain heart-broken, I preferred what the author did to Shin-Bi, instead of having him remain dead-alive seeing as Hye-Min moved on, since their relationship was broken, all thanks to Ma-ha...
And Ma-ha... in the beginning he was your typical lovable loser, then you find out he was a player and even though he had his good points, he really hurt many people, yet Hye-Min chose him over her Oppa, who pretty much made her what she was...I was a bit put off by that, because even though he admits that Hye-Min now has the power to hurt him just like he had hurt others, he never actually repented for anything, and in the end, he had some part in Shin-Bi's death...

So all in all, I liked the story, but there are some things that could have been dealt with differently...
And Shin-Bi was by far the best character, I think

It started out good- i liked the main character a lot, and i liked the other characters. However somewhere around volume 5-6ish, it got noticeably more darker and went downhill from there. The author purposely makes you hate each of the characters- and i even ended up hating the main character who i really liked. Everyone is selfish and twisted.

i mean wtf, a pot fell on shinbi's head and he's bleeding meanwhile hyemin makes out with ma-ha while crying ?!

It got so bad that i couldn't even bring myself to read the rest of the last volume. Another good manga that went downhill... It could have been really good, but i think the author was too keen on making this into a melodramatic tragedy manhwa. If she had went in a different direction, like

*cough shinbi x hyemin!*
it could have been a big hit. A huge disappointment because it had large potential with likable characters (at first)

It was beautiful. Better than I'd expected. I daresay, though, that if it wasn't completed, I'd have had not liked it quite so much as I did. It was very moving in an elegant sort of way, and heartbreakingly sad and happy at the same time. I can't say it was the best story I've ever read in my life (didn't make me cry), but I loved every moment of it. I'd read it again.

The description's a little misleading though.

I really liked it. But I also had a bone to pick...
Spoiler (highlight to view)
Shin-bi (the older cousin) dies at the end of the eighth volume, I believe. T_T I really didn't like the fact that he had to die... Was he so insignificant that he had to die? ._. I can't accept that Hye Min and his relationship had become so that only one of them could survive... ._.
