nothing special but is very well done and is quite good. You probably won't like it if you dislike mc doing stuff correctly and well.

I'm surprised I enjoyed this as much as I did for a story about a reincarnators rise to power. But the story does such a good job spending time with all the characters and properly setting up the conflicts and then resolving them in a satisfying manner that I couldn't help but enjoy a manga that could accurately be summed up as " overpowered reincarnated prince rises to power while everyone around him can't stop talking about how much of a good kid he is".

The dialogue is excellent too (at least the JP dialogue) doing a good job making different characters sound different from one another while at the same time talking in a way which is generally appropriate for their station. The nobles actually talk like important people most of the time instead of talking like modern day teenagers the way so many mangas do it.

This is nowhere near the best story ever told in a manga but the way it is told is exceptional for the genre. Once you're caught up with all the best fantasy mangas out there then picking up a few volumes of this might be a good time for you too.

Just caught up with the current chapter (chapter 23). The MC is partially a Gary Sue. Every situation he encounters, he resolves perfectly without effort. Doesn't show any sort of character flaw. While everything just falls into its position according, with or without him planning it.
The redeem quality for this manga is maybe the art style.

When an MC is so perfect he's entirely boring. He's 6, he's already an SSS water magician, a master swordsman, has the insight of a wizened hermit, the cunning and acumen of a seasoned merchant and so on. The funny thing is he only has an F or an F+F (E as it's explained) in all those stats save water magic. So, just how intelligent and how much insight will he have when he inevitably has SSS in all those areas? And, when there is something that against all odds he's not knowledgeable as (like torture... heh), he's as humble as an enlightened buddhist.
You know, being a returner doesn't make you omnipotent, it does not make you all knowing either, at best you retain some of the experience of your old life. Something every writer does poorly is 90% returners stories, like the usual dumb plot tool "my father was a mechanic, so I have advanced mech skills" or "I met the heavenly healer so I know some medicine"... well not if you didn't practice or study mate.

I really enjoy this manga and it has a good story so far and hope it continues
