What even happened here?

The first volume was a romance, sure...
The second volume was not.

After the conclusion of volume 1 we begin volume 2 by completely doing a 180 of one of the characters personalities.
He goes from being in love and not wanting to lose the other, to being a complete timid asshole.
He admits to himself several times that he wants to be held but just completely pushes away the seme for no reasons whatsoever.
And of course the seme is confused as shit. He took a leap to change his life for the uke and then got completely ignored afterwards.
Not to mention the uke cheats, with a woman, acts like he didn't do anything wrong, and then gets mad when the seme gets kissed.

And that ending? WHAT? Doing a complete career change with zero experience? Expecting to win in that situation considering what happens right beforehand? And after searching for A YEAR and finally finding seme, uke ignores it and continues on😕 What kind of bipolar story is this😕?

Annoying. Not worth a read. If you want to read it I suggest stopping after volume 1 because 2 just destroys everything the first volume worked to develop.

Well that sure was a packed 2-volume series. There was a lot to take in and yet at the same time it felt like nothing really got satisfactorily resolved. The tone of the manga underwent this drastic shift between the first and second volumes and the gap was just way too jarring. There are moments that I thought were pretty well-done, but there are also some that felt rather sloppy and hastily executed. It was honestly quite weird reading this and experiencing all the mood swings like the characters did lol.

The beginning was a nice read, until Jack went to Japan. I thought they were going to admit to their love or Takahiro would make him work for him like he mentioned, but noooooo. Everything decided to begin at point zero again with their love and relationship to one other. The ending was VERYYYYY unnecessarily done: the cat and mouse game, to random perverted father, and then to the shooting thing. I couldn't even tell what they really felt for each other at this point. There was also no character development as well. Then on top of it all, a dumb open ended ending... It had so much potential and then went flop, like Takahiro's dad. XD

I really was disappointed by this manga. Let's talk about the storyline(in what I understand it as). We have a hired killer who ends up being in charge of a hostage(son of a politician- by adoption). Everyone thinks the thug is an idiot(he isn't. Just has a learning disability).

Well, the beginning is good. They meet, they start to get to know one another and then... something happens.... they end up going to Japan.

Then, the son (who is obsessed over his father- who is dirty) isn't comfortable about his relationship with another man. So he cheats on him. He is an jerk. I did not like him at all. He wants his guy to come to him then treats him badly. Then let's talk about the end. Things go down so they aren't together at the end. It's like a cat and mouse game. Frankly, I don't care if end up together or not.

The first volume is really good. It's suspenseful and keeps you interested until the last page. The second volume didn't really catch me, though. I love the author and I love her style, so it's possible that I just didn't translate it well enough (I read this in Japanese). I wish this would get licensed either way, it's definitely a good story.

My biggest love EVER

3 chapters are uploaded to the internet and the rest (approximately 7 chapters) available for download (though raw) on a site. Definitely worth it. Worth every single page of it.

Now, I came across this as I was looking for the tag "Handcuffs", but let me tell you, there's not much handcuff going on (unfortunately).

And I just kept reading and reading and reading and when I came to the 3rd chapter's end I was on the brink of crying because I wanted to see the continuation so badly. After that I somehow came across the download links, and as much as they didn't live up that well to my expectation, this manga gets a 10/10. I think I just got my hopes up too much.

Good points:
- The Friendship: These two actually get along normally, no real seme-uke thing going on, this is actually quite realistic. And, just like in real life, they sometimes question their feelings and their bond, which personally I really loved.
- The Characters: Both of them have their nice share of sense of humour, and they are both interesting and cute in their own ways. Jack is downright adorable, even though he is such a hot guy. And Takahiro, well, he's just handsome as he is smile
- The Concept: As much as the idea of "Kidnapper and Victim becoming friends" has been done like a zillion times, I feel that this could really give something new to it. I'm not sure what that new thing was, but I just really felt like that this was different. I like how the idea is actually taken further, and the manga cares about their future after those things.
- The Realistic Feeling to it: This is the BEST point of this manga. The fact that it is a LOT MORE REALISTIC than most probably any other BL manga I have read. These guys are actually more straight in the beginning than homo, and they don't fall in love with each other the first night. They actually have feelings and a right sense of mind (in a way.)

The bad points of the manga:
- The Graphics: It sometimes get way too silly, and if this is your first time reading a work of Nishida-sensei, then you're going to have a hard time accepting it. Also, Nishida-sensei doesn't go for the ikemen bishounen flashy handsome kawaii look, so for those that are not into adult, grown men, maybe this is not for them.
- Only 3 Chapters Translated: For someone who doesn't speak Japanese, it can be a real torture to know that there is so much more left that they can't read.
- The Family Line Brought In: I don't really see the point of giving so much screen-time for Takahiro's father. As much as I understand that he plays a very important role in the happenings, I wouldn't have minded if he had few pages of him. So you might want to skip those parts, because I tell you, nothing interesting happens in those.

So, even though I listed some bad points, I believe this manga is still worth the perfect score, because it is entertaining, realistic (as much as a BL manga can be), and cute.
I can only recommend it! <3

I love this manga! The plot is pacing quite well, the drawing is ok, there isn't any girly looking uke stereotype and just when the story piqued my interest, it leaves me to a cliff hanger! I am seriously hooked on this one, and I hope it doesn't disappoint since the first 2 chapters is quite good especially the development between the main characters early on.
