The people of Earth live in a society where vampires aren't just real but dangerous. Although humanity has been able to keep them under control and even take the night away as the vampire's natural habitat, some of them have adapted. Hesperides, a relatively new breed of vampires, have adapted over hundreds of years in order to be able to go outside during dusk when the sunlight is at its weakest and feast on humans.

In the end it was a train wreck.

This manga finished at either 24 or 25 chapters. I say OR because the story seems to end at chapte 24 (we've had no updates from the raws from 2014) and...
Well, let's backtrack: MC's beloved ones are all brutally slaughtered and discovers his life is a lie. We spend a solid 3-4 chapters ( a good chunk of the story, then) exploring how deep his despair is and how weak he's in truth in comparison to what's in the world. And you know what? To no purpose. He undergoes no character development (well, aside becoming more wimpy and weak and... frustrating overall). He's actually a decoy protagonist, the main focus of the storyline is Eruka. She does the fighting all the time. But the problem is, why then focus so much on a character that get 4 pages in the last chapter (seriously, we see him HIDDEN IN A FRIGGIN CLOSET, all scared and teary eyed and that's it).
In other words, he's a pseudo plot device. And I use the word pseudo because his importance is never properly explained. It's just: he's important. And that's enough reason to fuck over his life and everyone shit on him. His actions are more and more pathetic as the story progresses. He's basically a gender-bender damsel in distress (and is even more annoying to read).
Eruka and the other girls... they aren't that interesting. Her powers are never properly explained... nor the 'transformation' she undergoes in the 'last chapter'. We couldn't grasp the nature of her powers.
The most grievous offence though is how they finish the story: the girls are all (save Eruka) killed by WOLVES. Not a special breed nor anything in that vein. Just simple wolves kill them all.
This manga was cancelled and it seems this seeming ending was a way of the author to spite at the readers. Those characters you may have liked? I'm killing them all at the end of the story in an ass-pull manner!

Could be semi-good

So far, its shounen with lots of blood/carnage. The main character is alluded to being something special, but he pathetic beyond all belief thus far(chapter 8). Its not a original story, but at the end of the day its about execution. The story moves really fast though character development seems to be on the backburner.
If the story can be defined a bit more, with some more character development thrown in and to my point, the main character stop acting like such a bitch, then this will be a above average, albeit violent, shounen manga.

This manga got the classic shounen feel at the start of the chapter. Everything seem pretty much like a typical romantic comedy with some fan-service, which I don't ready mind but overall nothing new. Though as you read along, it turns into a blood bath of pure carnage and mayhem. The main character who loved his simple life ,is all of sudden thrown into another but dangerous world everything he knew and love is turned upside down and is now completely lost can confused with all the chaos around him.
overall - its story seems interesting enough for me to want more. the art is likable. if you got doubts reading this manga i recommend you at least read the first chapter its an interesting read maybe not completely original but definitely entertaining
I give it a 10/10 for now because I've been reading a lot of disappointing manga and this wasn't one of them.
