Mahiru (top) and Mei (bottom) were lovers who fled their home village, rejecting its old-fashioned customs, and found happiness together in the big city. But that happiness didn't last. Mahiru tragically loses his life in an accident. Mei returns to the village he never wanted to see again to sacrifice himself to the god worshipped there and have his wish granted. But instead of wishing for the village's prosperity in the ritual, he wishes for Mahiru to come back to life. Mahiru wakes up in a mysterious, sacred place, and Mei greets him with pure joy. To complete the village's "wedding rite," they spend their first night together, but the act never seems to end, and Mahiru's behavior starts to change. Is he really the same kind lover Mei once knew? A folklore-based rural village fantasy BL with light horror and a bittersweet descent into obsession.
