At 17 years old, I didn't know anything about life or love. And I didn't see my cousin as a man. I don't want to know anything, but love changed everything. (From Chibi Manga)
4 Volumes (Complete)

So creepy! What the hell. Kissing her in her sleep when she is defenseless ans kissing her when she clearly says no. He is manipulating her with this (creepy) "I am a puppy" eyes and when she left her guard down he is forcing his feeling onto her. But hey: Everything is alright after that if I am the whiny cousin you used to know after that, right?
Anyways all the situations are way too forced and the male-lead is creepy and forcing. I am dropping this one.
The hero seems to have some sort of strategy going on, and it's not the usual tackle-her-down-and-have-my-way-with-her-until-her-brain-juices-tell-her-she-wants-me, although there's a wee bit of that too. But he seems to be aware that he cannot afford to be impatient in wooing her and he is doing so very subliminally... it makes for very delishious reading 🙂
Edit after reading chapter 5: Oh my freakin' god, could this boy get any sexier!!! It seems like he always knows what to do in any situation to turn it in his favour! Argh, I want more! And I want it all slowly deliciously drawn out to torture poor Riri chan!
PS I really like how Yagami Rina characterises her heroines. They're not cold or standoffish, just not super familiar with physical intimacy or wanting to jump the gun on romance with someone they're familiar with. I also like how in almost every story the boy has to work his way to creating that desire in the heroine! Makes for very cute moments!
PPS I will admit this boy doesn't know how to keep it in his pants the few times he does get carried away. He needs to learn that "No" means no, not "Take me now sailor" or "More tongue please"!
Sometimes, I'd imagine the whole story with the main guy switched for some plain-looking dude...and I think it's quite creepy? Heck, even with the current male lead, I still find it quite disturbing. I'm reading the story of a weird guy obsessed with his cousin - trying to control her life to an extent (ie, not letting her go to a goukon).
If this were a melodrama, someone would say he's actually making fun of the girl being oblivious to the fact that he is in fact a lot more reliable.
Yeah, maybe I'm looking into it way too much, but STILL, every time I read it there's this lingering feeling of uneasiness for the heroine. Despite my earlier statement, I actually hadn't pinpointed the exact reason yet. The available english scans are up until chapter 4 so I wouldn't know the whole story, so let's see what happens.
It has some cute moments, cliche...but certainly cute - just like any typical shoujo romance. The art's actually quite good, even with the disturbingly huge girl eyes and 1mm skirts, it's quite excellent for my taste.
If anything, I recommend just reading it for the [lovely bishounen] art.
Ughh, like, aside from the beautiful and bishounen art, I can NOT handle the cliche-ness of its degree any longer... Later on, it gets way too out of hand that I literally have to facepalm myself every 2-3 pages I read into the raws. It's way too unrealistic to the point of driving me insane (and let's not forget they're both both COUSINS for that matter). It's now come to a point where I don't want to even read the summaries anymore; I'll just look at raws and let that entertain me for however long it can.
However, it is a typical shoujo, and I've read enough titles to know that this one is annoying like the rest, but the art (mainly the bishounen) kills me every time I look at it, and so I bypass the annoying factor very scarcely... I mean, it's very difficult to read a manga that has beautiful art but such annoying characters and cliche, unrealistic plot lines. I usually could handle it to a certain degree, but man, this protagonist is so annoying. The art deserves more credit than what it's getting for, but the mangaka better work on maintaining the cliche-ness to a minimum because after the first 4 chapters, the same annoying, crying cycle comes again, and it SERIOUSLY ruins her art. Good art should have good story lines! The mangaka is just ruining it for me.
There isn't as much smut SO FAR, but darn, I must say the build up just clicks. The situation in this manga is what I fantasise lol. For those wondering, I recommend for you guys to read this, it has that romantic tension that many look for in smuts, but unfortunately feels so superficial. Ooh, I can't wait for the next chapter...
Edit: Well I read the raws, but it still has it's nice smutty flavour, although the female lead is again disappointing sigh. It also has the "cliché" situations, so I did drop it at one point (and picked it up and finished it when translations are completed). Still a good read in my eyes.
