aahhhhhh the beginning was actually VERY VERY gripping (and the side stories were super cute) 10/10. but....
well, after a while, there too many dramas, worries, misunderstandings (which is not my cup of tea); And too many ...guys
(ok, so we have issei's brother, i think thats enough, but ugh, some random rich, handsome, orange haired guy appeared... and i was like, okay,...). (and also, every handsome guy in the series (except for the 35 uncle) is into our female lead.......... ==" - sometimes it feels like the author buffs her too much, which is a little cringey).
In short, i feel like the series lost its beginning uniqueness and dynamic --- it falls into the cliché of "a tsundere pursuing an older lady with a past"
The most interesting character, also whom i like the best, is that crazy woman who obsessed with the older brother.
she started out as a likeable fangirl for hayame and the older brother, but somehow turns unhealthily obsessive over him
i think she's terrible as a person but is unique as a character. the story of her and female lead's ex husband makes me think twice... for one minute, i even sympathize with the ex husband - "cheating is not as bad as killing someone, right?" i hope they can get their shit together in their next life haha.
also, i ship the 35 year old uncle with the cute lady tooooo- their characters are witty and full of amazement...
anyways, issei is cute. the dynamic in issei and hayame's relationship is amazing and lovely. wish they end up happily soon. also, i like issei's friend too haha.
although this not really fits my cup of tea, this is a very very WELL WRITTEN series (good job author), you should read ittttt! Highly reccomended!!
more ranting:
i just don't understand why shoujo mangas male leads HAVE to be some handsome dude who acts like a jerk, like refuse all of those girls rudely and we readers would think so highly of him; like, are you more worthy, cooler because you treasure your girl but treat other people around you like shit? NOO........... i mean saying "no, thanks" normally would make me feel like you're cooler...
