Although Jyun's family forced her to marry Setsuna, she came to love him. Now a married high school girl, Jyun tries her best to be a good wife. However, Setsuna doesn't seem to like her at all!
Oneshot (Complete)

It was cute. And strange that it started with them already being married. o.o; That was different from other things. I sort of liked it, but I didn't like some scenes.
first of, the art is not that good..it's not that horrible because I've seen worser...problem with composition of face and a bit in proportion..it's not enjoyable to see a kiss scene that's not drawn properly right?sigh since art plays a big role on how much I rate,so yea
For me, I think like i've been thrown in the story..bam..I'm not saying that it's a problem for a manga to start with a marriage but I think there're better way to introduce the story...it's hard to differentiate the scenes...it's just like suddenly here then that..bam..you know, like when it's another day or she's remembering the past something a long that line...or to show a happening for exp
she fell from the stair and suddenly the guy was on top of her
Oh well, it's really up to you...this is just my opinion...I feel like I'm quite merciless but really I'm not..
i really enjoy reading this, it's a very touching story. =.= the art is nice and i like the ending. oneshots are usually not that great since there's not much to it, but Renai Saishuchiten is one of the rare ones that made it to the top.
will definitely try Wata Nobu's other works. ^__^b
btw, i wrote my own synopsis since the one up there isn't very accurate..
Summary: Although Jyun was arranged to marry Setsuna by her family, she came to love him. Now a married high schooler, Jyun tries her best to be a good wife, but it seems like Setsuna doesn't like her. And what about Jyun's childhood friend Kaname?
I say, both the main character keeps on jumping on their own conclusions. The girl thinks that the guy doesn't love her just because he embraced her and comes home late, the guy thinks that the girl likes her childhood friend and thinks that she doesn't like him kissing her and cries when the real reason is both of them have mutual feelings. It's kinda stupid ya know? Jumping to a conclusion without hearing what the another person have to say. And I find the part "I'm crying because of happiness" sentence and the girl's facial expression is two different thing.
Even I would think that she don't like the guy doing those stuff to her when her facial expression is actually showing a "I'm hurting" or "I dislike it" face. It's not even showing that it's happy. She's not even smiling. What kind of weird "cry of happiness" is that? rolls eyes
The story is different but high school girls getting married is one of the really unpleasant things that can happen in my society too, and please as romantic as this manga makes it put to be, its more than unfortunate, I do abhor people glamourizing something that is ethically wrong....and this manga does that, not to mention the overly done melodrama which makes my hair stand on end....
Why rated so high? I don't even know. One shot with content from 21 volume series smashed in. Inevitably there'd be a lack of character development or any kind of development except a really fast plot.
This had the potential to be soo much more. I really loved the story. But I so wish there was more of it!!! It would've been nice to see hoe their feelings developed, and to have seen more of their lives.
If it's a oneshot the author shouldn't try and compress what could, and probably should, have been the plot for a series into a single chapter. I've got no sympathy whatsoever for this. I read the description and thought "oh, maybe this'll be an okay series". When I saw it was a oneshot I should have known. The author tries so hard to squash so much into a short 49 pages (or whatever). There's backstory and a love triangle, and an "I love you but now you hate me" theme going on and overall it's just too much.
What's more, the dude single handedly ignore her for most of the story, then decides to come home early once, finds out she's not there and then gets the wrong end of the stick and thinks she's always been cheating on him. He forces her out of the house only to save her later. It's his own fault for not knowing where she was and that she was always waiting for him. grr. Stupid girl. She should've left them both
Needless to say, I was not impressed by this. A simpler plot, mainly without the love traingles, would have been so much better.
Like what paraphrase said, maybe a few more chapters would give it some time to shine. But there were still a lot of things that bothered me, like how cliche most parts are. The cliche parts weren't as much of a drag as people would expect, they were actually tolerable. The art of a good drama wasn't present - that's why it was filled with cliches. A different writer could have rewritten this and would have given it a better plot and better characteristics.
The art style isn't something that I would praise. Lot's of things can be done to make it better.
Overall, this manga has a lot of room for improvements. Too bad, it was just a one shot with a not-so-good art style.
i dont think the ending was long enough for me. i mean it was obvious so many times that she loves him and hes all like rawr! -.- and then when he finally decides to listen he is like dieing. i dont think there ,make up was long enough there just like...oh....well okay. theres no. omg ive been terribly wrong why was i so stupid why dident i know better. or just talk to you blah blah blah i love you i love you i love you so much there just like.......oh......i love you.........we cool?.......good....
-_- the art was really good tho and its still worth reading i just like to rant x.x
