Grudging respect.

I have to admit, it was a pretty good read. I finished the whole thing in about 4 hours. The story was intense at times, the characters are enjoyable. My main dislike is the art style which does improve slightly in the last third of the manhwa but still feels "unpolished".
All in all I'd say read it if you want a quick story to pass the weekend.

First off I would like to say that this manhwa would be a PERFECT yaoi or Shounen-ai, and by perfect I mean absooolutley perfect. But I guess you can´t get all you want in life *sigh*

The characters, story and art was like a breath of fresh air. I´ve always been weak to sketchy art-style and this, combined with a manhwa, was perfect.
I´m not gonna waste your time...

....So READ IT....right this instant.

A jewel of a story!

This manhwa is certainly a jewel, and I’m just going to say now, go read it! Really though, it was such a good story, amazing story line, great development and pace, endearing characters and just
so well rounded it makes quite a great story!

Plot- The plot is simplistic enough, but it’s a very interesting one and has quite a bit of excitement woven into it, especially at the end, I was literally at the edge of my seat reading it! The premise is keeping a witness safe, but that doesn’t mean its all detectives and chases and fights (but there’s enough of that too!), the story is a very sweet one with many great character relationships that grow and develop and take the spotlight of the story. The plot is wonderful, very nicely paced so that no
chapter is ever boring.

Characters- It’s pretty much a given that you’ll love the characters! Each was endearing in their own way and you couldn’t help but enjoy their interactions (many which were comical). The two mains, Mahnsoo and Bohm, were especially great, they were very real and their interactions with each other and everyone else really made the story better. Mahnsoo is just too cute! You can’t help but love him! Even the bad guys were great! Santa is actually a very interesting character! The character’s really made this story, making it deeper and more enjoyable; I just got caught up with their emotions and could hardly stop reading.

Art- It could be considered a ‘sketchy’ style, but it really works for the story and can at some times be very beautiful. The color really adds to the story and can help portray emotion better then black and white could. When I first started reading I was did not dislike the art but I didn’t like it either, that drastically changed as I read more, the art is very good and really fits and helps the story!

Other- Go read it! It won’t take too long to read it and I’m pretty sure it’s impossible not to enjoy! Just go give it a try!

9/10- Was great

Why are you reading this review? Hurry up and read this wonderful jewel of a manhwa!

I *adore* this manhwa. smile Instead of a lovey dovey romance, this series focuses on family, friendship, forgiveness, and the issue of loneliness.

The characters are quirky and fun, each of them have a delightfully unique personality. It was wonderful reading a manhwa that isn't about getting the girl/guy of their dreams, but about how one boy manages to bring some very unlikely people together as friends and as family.

Go read it, seriously! smile~

Pretty good. Art's a bit rough, but that's just the style. The side characters come to be handled well. Although it moves along at a slow pace, it keeps you engrossed. There's not much romance, unless it's characters pining for their crushes. The villain is a bit flat and only serves the plot; in essence he's just bloody crazy. But the main pull of this series is the friendship between Bohm and the happy-go-lucky crossdressing Mahnsoo. It reminds me of (initial) Kyo & Tohru from Fruits Basket in many ways- he's icy, she's innocent with a refreshing view of the world. I'd recommend it solely for this.

I really like it! It's a good story about family with some action thrown in. The art is a wee bit different to normal but still really good, plus it's quite funny. I think it could have worked nearly as well without the crossdressing.

Ensemble is a great web comic about family, friends and every day life. Ensemble is hilarious most of the time but it also manages to tug at your heart strings. If you're looking for something funny, something original, something touching or something entertaining, I suggest you give Ensemble a try. Even if you're not a fan of the "gender bender" genre, if you just give Ensemble a chance, you'll be able to read something wonderful.

i just absolutely loved this! i mean, i i usually don't read Manhwa's at all but this was just good and funny. I loved the character's , they were so funny. the art isn't a total 10 , more like an 8 or a 9 , but the story was too good. I almost didn't want to read it at first but very glad i did.

Im not sure whether to say its manga or manhua, so I'll go with webcomic. Although the art is a bit "rough" the plot line is one of the better gender bender ones. Its not one of the, "next page...next page... etc", you're actually exicted to read through the page, then sad you have, because its on less.

It has romance, comedy and seriousness all mixed into one. Defiently 10/10 and I hardly ever do that, maybe 10 or 11 titles out of the few thousand ive read :] Highly reccomended.

I've given only 3 series a rating of 10 so far in my life. This is the 4th. Simply fantastic. It isn't in manga format, nor a 4koma, but the style is unique. The art is fantastic, I am reminded by Haruhi Suzumiya and Kurosaki Ichigo for the main characters.

Fantastic plot, even the small fillers (such as the Christmas chapter) is well drawn. Emotion is expressed beautifully as one dives into the reading. I experienced emotional ups and downs while reading this webcomic. The panels are superbly rendered.

I highly recommend you to read this. The style is much simpler and may seem strange, but I felt that emotion and feelings were felt by the reader.
