I loved it so much , it's so nice and felt close.

Masaro is such a serious, strict and unwavering guy, the type ppl get bored and tired easily bcz he is the type who even extra harsh to himself let alone ppl around him , well it's make him great and a loyal partner too.

Akira is so patient and understanding, he knows himself so well and know it's hard for a straight guy stay with him but he choose to stay patient and work extra hard and risk his time and life for love.

it's show living with someone and having a partner is not all lovely dovey , both sides need to work so so so hard to make it work , they need to be patient, put attention to each other, being loyal and understanding of each other, know their limits and try extra hard to hurt each other as less as possible + u need a little sacrifices too and it's for all partners not just gay ones.

Anyway it was such a nice read , totally recommend 👍

And in the end I want to say to Yanagi , u are brave , strong and such a caring sweetheart man , God bless u 💖

guy just up and leaves for a whole year to pretend the omiai his parents arranged bore fruit? What kinda a-hole does that to the one he loves out of the blue? And for a whole year? Come on! He didn't deserve to be taken back!

Refreshing and Beautiful

Based on a real life gay couple, sensei did an amazing job capturing the world these two made together. This is fantastic! Both characters were relatable and the love is real. Such a nice change of scene from the standard cliche stuff out there. There is more to making a great story then just sex scenes. And their first time was so perfectly done that you can't help but realize that sex with love is on an entirely different level. So good, I really enjoyed this!

Aside from the monumental circumstances behind the creation of this manga, all in all it's quite a refreshing read with good characterisation and organic developments. The mangaka did a good job capturing the essence of the real person her protagonist is based on while also adding her own touches into the story. I like what I read.

Heart warming

A beautiful and touching story of how love develops and progresses. The most amazing feature of this manga is that it’s based on a real life story. I especially loved the interview/Q&A section at the end with Akira’s model, Yanagi-san. The answers range from terribly sad (suicide attempt, harsh rejections, prejudiced reactions) to super sweet (first kiss, mother’s acceptance, special moments) to relationship wisdom (decide not to break up, work together, love is limitless). It was this section that really showed how much effort the mangaka went to to portray their relationship accurately and sweetly. Comparing to fictional BL, I’d have given it an 8/10 as I’d want to know more of the story and Masaru’s POV. But looking at this as a non-fiction BL, it’s truly a one-of-a-kind treasure.

I love it so much, especially because it was a fairytale-like, RL romance that had a happy ending. Think about how these two people can read a book that portays their lovestory and can share it with the rest of the world. I wanted to see the main couple get married and live happily together but I can't complain with what I got. I wish much happiness to the actual people depicted in this story.
