Description
Yuko Natsuki, a rookie reporter for an occult magazine, sees a girl's spirit in a "cursed apartment" she visited for coverage. I really hate it when we get last minute reveals in the final chapter that come out of the blue, seemingly an attempt to squeeze extra drama from a story that's basically over.
In the final chapter, it's revealed that the female lead Yuko
Now it seems like it could be a result of possible editorial meddling. Better writing should place these things earlier in the story where it could still be relevant to the plot, not when it's almost over. Or better yet, just don't. Twists like that are overused in bad writing to generating cheap and quick drama.

was also a victim of repeated child rape by the same ugly bastard pedophile who had ruined Aiko's life years before.
What was the point of making such a twist when it's already the final chapter? A last minute kick to the reader? If that was an attempt to make the comeuppance of the villain more satisfying, it just falls flat.Now it seems like it could be a result of possible editorial meddling. Better writing should place these things earlier in the story where it could still be relevant to the plot, not when it's almost over. Or better yet, just don't.
