triggers/warnings (in order of appearance)

-flashback begins with aki sexually harassing ruka
-present time begins with blackmail: aki wants to disrupt ruka's quiet life by outing him as a former idol
-aki demands that ruka always pick up his calls + make time for him
-their [renewed] relationship begins with sexual assault. for the rest of the manga, aki constantly assaults ruka and forces him to have sex, usually in a public space
-assault in this case refers to aki groping ruka, aki pulling ruka's dick out when he doesn't want to have sex, and aki forcing ruka to fuck him. ruka always struggles against aki at first, but ultimately goes along with everything
-there's a barely-there plotline about aki trying to "train" ruka to get better at sex, but again it's barely there
-aki constantly bullies ruka about being a "virgin" (mainly he hasn't had sex with a woman)
-aki forces ruka to have sex with women in a public space so he can lose his "virginity". the women then attempt to rape ruka by blowing him against his wishes to get him hard
-an old perv makes passes at first to ruka then to aki before ruka punches the dude
-someone tries to impersonate ruka/take ruka's identity

maybe i'm too harsh in my judgment bc the warnings i listed sound bad and are bad, but the worst part is that all of this crap is done so flippantly and shallowly that i can't give a fck. i went into this manga with low expectations and somehow it set the bar from 0-1ish into the negatives.

aki is annoying in a bad way, ruka has no spine except for random (and frankly ooc) flashes, and the plot is basically just assault to more assault to an unnecessary plotline that lasts 2 boring chapters to—you guessed it—assault. and, again, all of this is done w/o any depth—i don't care about how awful things are bc the way it was done just doesn't resonate. i felt nothing for the resolution bc none of it was earned. the art style is a little sketchy and not unpleasing to the eyes, but otherwise unremarkable. it's a shame that for all the sex that happens, all of it is really short bc the porn itself—despite its context—is decent/kinda good.

my rating is as high as it is bc:

the one thing i found interesting is

ruka probably being demisexual bc he can only get hard/have sex with people he likes, which is a refreshing take instead of the usual "ooh, your body is responding like this bc you secretly like it." nah. the dude stays flaccid unless it's aki touching him.

i find both ruka and aki attractive, but that's bc they're literally bishounen
apparently ruka's dick size deserves it's own point LOOOOL

overall, as the tin says, this is just not worth it
