ocassionally rolling but more often than not it's just a tad too derivative. balls to walls ending was fun.
okay so the book cover drawed my attention to it and thats y i read it .. it was totally awesome. the only thing is that as it got toward the end it started to rush things a little too fast
It was a great manga ! at first with the art i thought " oh what an horrible art , i really can't read this :/" but then i keep reading it to ch 6 , then i completly loved it !! it was really good !! the story and the charactere were so funny !!
i really thought i will be disapointed, but not at all, the story was'nt boring at all !!
i really recommande this shounen !!!
I liked the art but the story wasn't much. Near the end it became very... odd. Not only was the conspiracy concept stupid the ending was a complete waste.
Some parts of the story were very amusing but that didn't push the plot enough for me to give it a high rating.
I must say I expected more from this one. But manga was just boring all the way and filled with cliches. Honestly, I haven't read it till the end so this one goes to my unfinished list to stay.
It was one of my first series, so I really enjoyed this manga. I liked the plot from the beginning till the end. But it has some transparent moments like 'oh, now we only need a basist... oh look, there's a fight down the street!'.
Despite my not-so-high rating, Bremen remains one of my favorite series. I like the art style, the idea, the well-developed characters, and pretty much the whole thing. However, the series got rushed like crazy the second they got their record deal. Also, despite being the founder of the band, Reiji gets sidelined compared to the other members about halfway through. Still, a short but fun read.
A great mix of comedy, action, etc... I really loved the manga, it was certainly far better then what I was expecting. Nice clean art with plenty of details. The story was interesting start to finish, even if it got a more unrealistic in the end, it just barely stands at the unbelievable line.
The ending was lame. WTF about this evil organization? It would have been much better without it.
And Hayama is such a babe! What a shame... 🙁
Wow, what a disappointment! A story that started off in the rip-roaring tradition of rock 'n' roll ended up becoming a bizarre science fiction conpsiracy theory. What the hell?
If it weren't for the ending, I would've given this manga as much as an 8. If only the artist hadn't tried to take a short-cut and end the story prematurely, it really could've been as good as Beck. Instead, the mangaka tacked on a completely artificial and unconvincing ending! Argh!
That said, no other shounen manga character will ever be as cool as Ryo. Rock on, girlfriend! You're my role model!
