i like it but it gets more and more annoying as time goes on. I have no problem with Seol being super powerful but i hate the fact that the grandpa is getting more and more useless as time goes by.

if you're gonna insist that he can't deal with the important enemies, why even bother making him young again? just keep him as a dying old man with not much long to live is he's never gonna actually defeat a strong enemy on his own.

regardless, he should still be superior to Seol because he's the elder. he may not be physically as powerful as his granddaughter but his experience should have been more than enough to keep up. at this point, Seol is just on a whole other dimension and would just solo everybody with minimal effort. you made her too powerful too quickly. now there's zero stakes and we all know she would just win.

(This series is pretty dense, it felt like I'd read twice as many chapters. Maybe they're longer than most manhwa)

This story is... it's absurd. It's got a serious premise but as it goes on, absurd things happen. Especially as the granddaughter plays a larger and larger role, a lot of comedy comes from there. But also some convenient plot happenings happen. But also some unexpected ones, too.

As far as power progression goes, it's mostly following the same formula. But sometimes something slightly different happens enough that it feels new.

This is a strange series to rate/review. Because it does some things differently (like the mc forgoes the orthodox/righteous/traditional methods and uses more guerrilla warfare/tactics) but also does other things formulaic (like the unearned power progression for the granddaughter)

There's a fair bit of cruelty/gore at times. It's a harsh world. But it also has random comedy.

I *can *confidently say: The granddaughter becomes suitably cute and funny as she begins to speak and move about. Innocent and adorable. But also too OP.

I've been mostly burned out with action/battle focused series for about 15 years now. But if that's your thing, you'll like this a bit more than me.

It is what you expect it to be, though a bit nonsensical. The granddaughter doesn't just grow up after a few chapters, she is going to keep being a child.

I can't say there is a whole lot of education the grandpa is giving her, so it isn't that kind of story. He is a caring Grandpa, but how wholesome can be the life of an OP child that has to fight and kill to save herself ? Or even is forced to decide if she starts a battle to the death to save a third party. Children aren't supposed to need to make these kinds of choices.

The granddaughter doesn't really have a character, in that even after 50 chapters I don't feel like I "know her". I can predict her actions, because she is a very typical "tomboy who loves meat" ( Don't look at me,I didn't pick her personality), but I don't feel like she is "a person".

It is fine, passes the time.
