Description
Kai Kudou is part of an elite organization of psychics known as Ashurum. Kai is sent on a mission to take custody of other unregistered illegal psychics in the city of Gald.
However, he strays from his companions and is taken in by Yuuki Tokugawa, an odd-job-man who is currently working for the guerillas that are in opposition to Ashurum.
As Kai spends more time with Yuuki and his mysterious sister Asuka, Kai starts to wonder what Ashurum's purpose is--are they trying to protect the psychics or control them?

The only word I can think to describe this manga is lacking.
It starts off pretty good with all the right ingredients for an exciting and eventful series. However, after Kai leaves the organisation the plot seems to drag on. There's conflict and fighting, but the plot doesn't seem to be going anywhere and it starts to get frustrating after the first 20 chapters.
The characters are okay but they seem a bit bland and cliche. I like Kai but Asuka get on my nerves as the crying-in-love-with-main-character-self-berating girl.
The art is decent- the slightly old fashioned stlye isn't my taste since the body proportions sometimes go wild (e.g. a super tiny waist compared to bum), but maybe other people enjoy it.
Overall, I wouldn't reccomend reading this if you're the type who wants a fast and original plot.

Uh hello, pretty boy with psychic powers and hidden potential? Bring in a corrupt organization, religious tints, gender-bending, and I'm sold. I just wonder why they stopped scanlating this series. I hope a group decides to start!

I saw the anime first on this one and so had to check up on the manga. The story of the manga is better since the time scale is more compact and it misses out the annoying filler stories of the anime. The art work is amazing and the potential is vast. I got hooked pretty much straight away. There is something that will appeal to everyone, with an almost perfect balance of action, tragedy, romance and comic relief. The action is easy to follow which was surprising since many battles involve psychic powers. This is an amazing manga which doesn't get the attention it deserves. It's tragic that it is no longer being scanlated or published.
