This story made me laugh and get all hot and excited! Ran and Kei are just such an extremely well developed couple. And this 'domestic' or 'mundane' story of their New Year's Eve celebration is brilliantly done. It's like the reader has a window into their private apartment, watching them have fun together.
The mangaka, Kodaka-sensei, has created a story about two men in a long-term relationship that never ceases to be interesting to me. There is enough ups and downs, angst and joys, to keep it believable and to keep it engaging.
Her artwork is very pretty as well. And graphic! I. Like. Graphic. (and with characters that I feel a connection for - bonus!)
